I liked the inside the most at the Eglise Notre-Dame de la Bonne Delivrance.
It had some nice stained-glass windows.
The ceiling was brown and yellow pillars.
The benches were made in wood.
There were statues.
The floors was with white tiles and brown tiles.
There is a gorgeous painting at the back of the altar.

We were exploring while on the island and came across this amazing church and the cemetery behind its site. This church was where Josephine's parents were married in 1761 and she was baptized in 1763. This is a stunning marvel to architecture and is simplistic in design. All the features are remarkable and we only wish we could have ventured inside.

This is a lovely church, nice colours and nice stain glass windows. There is the baptismal font where empress Josephine was baptised in. A well maintained church with beautiful interior and exterior.

Don't miss this charming local church! Joséphine Tascher de la Pagerie who married Napoleon Bonaparte and became Empress of the French was baptized there. The interior of the church is kept simple with beautiful candelabra and colorful statues. Of interest is the plaque listing the names of the local soldiers (35) who died in World War I. It is reminder that France conscripted locals from tiny villages overseas just as aggressively as in the mainland.

A great stop in Trois Ilets to visit. Beautiful church with tributes to Empress Josephine who was baptized here. Here parents were also married in this church and her mother is buried in this church. Historical signs and monuments are accessible to everyone in the church to browse. Across from the church is a local market with fresh fruits and vegetables sold by local merchants. Also found across from the church is a monument to those lost in war.
