Diamant is worth the visit! Parking in the town was plentiful, though be mindful that the road will be briefly closed to thru traffic when the buses arrive to pick up children being let out of school. The black sand beaches are beautiful, as is Diamant itself. The waves can be very rough, and though i didn't brave more than... More

A facinating geological anomaly, this rock sticks out of the sea and is home to a wide collection of seabirds whose daily life is now recorded on video by a set of cameras which have been placed on the rock with the aid of a helicopter supplying the equipment and skilful camera technicians who can also rappel down cliffs and... We drove down to Diamant Beach early am and found we were the only people on the beach that stretches perhaps 3km. Flat, fine grain sand and wonderful to walk either direction. Beautiful view of Le Diamant - lots of history here. The surf we were told was considered "rough" - like being in a "washing machine", but for us... More

We had perfect view from our deck of Diamond Rock, made each sunset and sunrise that much more beautiful. It is worth a ride to Diamond Beach for the quiet beaches there and at Saint Luce. Walking trail connects you to multiple beaches there.

I visited Martinique and stayed in Le Diamant. I went to the beach to get a view of this rock, and it was worth it. I wouldn't recommend swimming there unless you are a body surfer. The waves are huge and rough.

You can see Diamond rock from the beach. However, if you drive up road D37 for about 5 minutes, you’ll find a viewing terrace (with about 10 parking spots and very informative panels) overlooking the rock with close-up and unspoiled views.

You must see this beach when you are once in Martinique island. Situated in nice natural scenery, but you must be careful, because swimming can be rather dangerous. There are big waves. Good possibility of parking in the shade. Take your own beach towels.

The view of the rock is beautiful from the shore - not to be missed! Next time we hope to get closer in a boat.

Its a beautiful drive up the coast to diamond beaches. There are viewing points and when you arrive there are long stretches of beach to hang out on. Try to find a nice beach bar to have a glass of rose at. It makes it all the better.
