Beautiful and Quiet

Was dropped off at Rendezvous Beach as part of our snorkeling trip. My husband and I had the place to ourselves. It was quiet and beautiful. Bring water.

I did the walk a couple of times and it takes about 20 minutes, but it is steep and hard so walking shoes advisably, plus sunscreen and water (lots). But it is worth it as the views are fantastic at the top of the hill before you descend to the beach. Lots of turtles use the beach and you will see... More

Only white sand beach on Montserrat. Accessible via fishing boat, kayak or hike! I hiked! If you decide to do this pleasee take lottts of water and wear old clothes and suitable shoes. Also wear long socks or trousers so you don't get pricked by the bushes :)

Rented kayaks from Scuba Montserrat instead of hiking - so happy we did! Went past bat caves & could see them flying around. Landed on beautiful beach & started to snorkel. My pick for best snorkeling on the island. Saw a sea turtle and lots of fish. There wAs plenty of open sandy areas for swimming.

I go every year, I'v done once over the bluff but I much prefer using a boat, it's much faster and the hike over is very hot since there is little shade on the way. The beach itself is beautiful and secluded.

We dinghied round to the beach from Little Bay, it only took a few minutes. We couldn't easily see how to get to the beach by other means, but others have said it is walkable - we were lucky. Well it's a very beautiful beach, stunning location with views out to Redonda and distant Nevis. Because of its isolation it's... More

Best to climb over the hill in the cooler part of the day as it is pretty steep. Probably not for the very unfit. But the peace and quiet on the other side are great -- even though it is just round the corner from the main sea port, we had the beach to ourselves. It was too rough to... More

This beach has amazing sand and water. The water is so shallow that you can walk 100-200 yards out and still touch. Great for children or families. The campground there is great with showers and water and it's right next to the beach.

My wife and I visited this beach by hiking over. We are 55+. Many told us this was a difficult hike and we almost didn't go. Boy are we glad we went!! The hike took us about 45 minutes each way, but we actually took our time. There were a couple of spots that were uneasy, but not too difficult.... More
