Lovely hike with plenty of shade for hot, humid days

This is a lovely, largely shaded hike through attractive foliage and flowers. There were only a few people along the trail so it was easy to stop to take photos or enjoy the views.

A very nice hike from Windwardside up to the highest point on the island. Takes less than two hours roundtrip or SHOULD take less than that. Might want to consider a rain jacket even if sunny, can be wet and foggy at the top. Study shoes too not just flip flops

To us, Dutch couple, it was a great experience to reach the highest point of the Dutch Kingdom on our honeymoon. The flora and fauna were magnificent and the trail was really quiet. Too bad the weather wasn't that great. From around 600/700 meters we walked in the fog and the view from the top wasn't better. Eventhough it was... More

There were 3 of us and we weren't sure we should do the hike because of the intense heat and humidity. We were warned that if we did to just make sure and bring plenty of water. It really does make you think twice. Happy to say we did it and it wasn't all that bad but we are conditioned... More

Every review I read about My Scenery said it was a must. Guaranteed, the top view was obscured and therefore did not allow for a view of below which may "cloud" my opinion, but I was also hoping for a better experience during the climb. Take lots of water, good shoes, walking stick, something to wipe your brow along the... More

Not an easy hike, but I made it to the top despite not being particularly fit. The sign at the entrance says the hike takes one hour and a half each way; I'm slow so it probably took me about 2 hours. I seriously recommend grabbing a tree branch or bringing a walking/hiking stick for support. Overall a very nice... More

Strenuous but beautiful. Wear shoes with good tread it is slippery and you will work up quite a sweat. My wife and I are both runners but she had all the exercise she wanted when she reached the top. There are worlds here that Those of us in the mid-western United States have only seen on TV. If you are in... More

Amazing trail, with gorgeous views. The plans vary along the walk together with altitude. There are no mosquito or other bugs bothering you, it just is a delight (not an easy one though ! You have to be fit). The temperature gets fresher with altitude also, which is nice. Even if you're often in the mist up there, don't forget... More

Mt Scenery was definitely a high point in our trip to Saba (pun intended). It took my husband and I about 2 hours to hike up from Windward Side, with frequent stops to look at the amazing vegetation and wildlife. The top 3rd or so is cloud forest, with dense, lush greenery everywhere. Giant ferns, huge heliconias, flowering trees, birds... More

The hike up Mt. Scenery, though a little arduous in a few places on the trail, it is very much worth it to see all the different types of plant and animal life. And if you so happen to catch the very top of Mt Scenery without clouds (the very top is a cloud garden and is cloud covered 95%+... More
