This was the second beach I visited during my day trip to the island. It's got many restaurants and sun chairs. The sand is soft and you can just lay down and watch the small airplanes landing and taking off from the airport. I guess it's the favorite beach for the rich people as well. If you come to the... The Nikki Beach side of St Jean is the place to go rather than the Eden Rock side. It's quiet and very few people.

St Jean is the most developed of all the beaches in St Bart. It is a large beach with many services (water sports, etc) and many restaurants both on the beach and across the road. There is also plenty of shopping with mini groups of stores full of fashion and sourvenirs across the road from the beach. Both Niki Beach... More

Beautiful beach. Very busy. Fun to swim in the beautiful, calm water and watch the planes land so close. Water is very calm.

One of the great beaches on St Barths that satisfies everyone's wish. Gin clear water, gentle wave action ( good for kids), white sand cool under your feet, and enough restaurants to treat yourself to a good lunch. Not the biggest beach. Divided in two sections with Eden Roc hotel in the middle. Public parking available at the airport end.... More

Not a fan of beaches but very much enjoyed this one. The sand was so smooth and the views were beautiful. Combine the beach experience with lunch at Nikki Beach and you have a perfect shore excursion if you are on a cruise ship. The fare from the pier to the beach was $25 one way.
