We booked the Magical Marigot Bay on-your-own tour through Royal Caribbean. We drove approximately 20-30 minutes to the location. The bay is picturesque but boring. The ad claimed duty free shopping and a beach. We were dropped off at 10:30am and picked up at 2:30 pm. There is a short boardwalk that leads to hotel. This could be a nice... More

This beautiful and perfect bay now is The Place for amazing yachts and expensive hotels. However, if one digs, reasonably priced lodging can be found. Water taxis are the only way to get around from one side of the bay to the other, so bring plenty of one dollar bills. This is a regular "drive-thru" spot for boats of cruise... More

We were able to see Marigot bay both from our minibus, and from our catamaran. It is a lovely bay from either direction. It is not very large, and has not been spoilt by overdevelopment.

Apparently this is where they filmed Dr Doolittle - I didn't know ! This is a very small bay that is fantastically pretty with more than it's fair share of boats - well worth a visit if you get chance to take in the whole bay at your leisure.

We went Kayaking. Our tour guide was great since it was only the two of us on the tour. So beautiful. We stopped and had fresh coconut juice off the tree. Just loved it. The tour guide had so much knowledge.

We spent a week in Marigot Bay, and loved it. We never tired of the views, with palm trees, beach, the bay opening to the Caribbean sea, yachts, and lush hills. We walked to the top of the hill overlooking the bay, went snorkelling, kayaking and had a go on a Stand up Paddleboard. We love bird watching, and there... More

We viewed this lovely location whilst on a bus tour, at the same angle as this photo. Splendid from above and if we had time I'm sure it would've been splendid to visit. Just as you imagine a Caribbean bay to look like. I think this is where in 1967 the film "Dr Doolittle" was filmed with Rex Harrison.

Seen some pictures before and wanted to see Marigot Bay. It was well worth it. Went to see it from Land and from Water, very picturesque. Even seen a Rainbow over the Water.

This was a favorite part of our trip. After several tries (by road) we got to the heart of Marigot Bay and loved the views while boat/yacht watching. There is a large parking lot to park your car near Mygo House of Seafood and walk down to the piers.

We took a quick sail into Marigot Bay on our day tour with Carnival Cruises. This is a famous bay (featured in the original Dr Doolittle movie) and it is a popular marina. I got some gorgeous pics here and dreamed about what it would be like to own a house on the top of the surrounding hills and wake... More
