So if you drop $50 per person for the day you can park far away in the lower area in a public parking lot and try to recoup your investment in ordered food and drinks against it. Or you can get creative. Walk down. It’s...More

Our experience was not the best at Sugar beach (Jalousie beach). The resort staff on the beach were unfriendly. Don't even think about going near the resort beach chairs. The public beach chairs are shoved in one small, roped off corner of the beach where...More

We were on a boat and on a mooring ball. Be very careful of the mooring balls. Our first ball broke. Luckily we were on the boat, otherwise it would have been a disaster. There’s great snorkeling in the marine park at the base of...More

There is a little corner of the Jalousie beach reserved for the public filled with sun loungers. From here the family-run shop will rent you a snorkel/fin set to have a look over the coral reefs. There's a small area by the public beach area,...More

We visited this beach as an excursion off of a cruise ship. We had such a fun time snorkeling, eating, and even napping. Public area is fairly crowded, but the views are worth the trip here. Best of all, we saw lots and lots of...More

Not that we saw. Most of the beach is taken up by the resort, the public is restricted to a very small stretch at the one end. There were bathrooms/showers, but we weren't looking for lockers so can't say for sure.
