The marina reserve is right there by the beach and the snorkeling was wonderful. We did swim with some non stinging type jellyfish which was a first for me and saw a lot of amazing fish. The beach is beautiful and blue the whole area was stunning. A must see

We came here by boat on an excursion for the day. There is a "free" area with free chairs and thatched umbrellas and an area that has chairs under the trees with a backdrop of the mountain. It's located between the 2 pitons. The other half of the beach is huge and is in front of a resort. You are... More

A public beach with designated area (small and littered with stones (swimming shoes would be useful). The view from the back entrance is amazing, absolutely breathtaking. The restaurant at the resort had limited options when we inquired and was very pricey. Accessing the beach from the front entrance of the resort, you are informed that you will be walking back... This is a great public beach, but due to the resort there is a small area reserved for non-guests to sit in chairs on the beach. It is so beautiful and worth a visit for the Piton views.

This beach was among the nicest that we were at on our cruise. It is quite with a huge naturally shaded area to sit between snorkeling adventures. The snorkeling was quite good with a large area devoted to the activity and many different types of fish. The view of the Pitons is also excellent from the beach which is part... More

My girlfriend and I cherished the afternoon we spent at Jalousie Beach aka Sugar Beach over our July 4th vacation. The view of the Pitons form the beach and water is stunning. The Pitons truly look majestic; it can't be captured in a picture. We had lunch at Sugar Beach (resort) and really enjoyed it, though it was a bit... More

Most beautiful beach I've ever seen. Came here on the Spencer Ambrose tour. This beach truly signifies all that is wonderful about St Lucia and the Caribbean.

tucked in between the Pitons, it is a sight to behold. Snorkeling in the public area needs to be done during the morning for the best lighting. If you snorkel in the afternoon, Petit Piton casts a giant shadow, which makes picture taking underwater difficult (if that's your cup of tea). We snorkeled here a couple of times, once by... More

This beach was clean with a lovely view sitting between the Pitons. The water was clean and clear and the snorkeling along the right side in the Marine Reserve had lovely fish and coral. One has to park in an upper parking lot, then take a shuttle down to the beach - this costs money unless you have lunch at... More
