Castries is certainly not the picturesque, seaside town you would like it to be, and the boulevard exemplifies the worst of your expectations: run-down, dirty, and a little dodgy...although, I can't say I ever felt unsafe. It was interesting to come out and watch the street vendors going about their business and observing what the local life was all about.... More

If anyone advised you to go to the boulevard on your vacation they don't love you or care for you. Castries has fallen into disrepair and this street is no different. If you do decide to come here don't use your smart phones and make sure you aren't wearing anything valuable like gold jewelry or a DSLR camera. Take the... More

The WP Boulevard has hardly any attraction to offer. But you may have to pass it to reach other sites and shops. It is a place where you are more likely to be approached by beggars and loiterers than elsewhere in the city (at least places most visitors are likely to go). Over the past decade or two, things have... More

There needs to be a little more order in the town. It should be nicely decorated with local plants and a caribbean flavour
