Relaxing area for walking, some shopping, and food/ drink places.

We shopped for local crafts/ art here, had a very nice lunch in the fountain area. Just be ready to spend some time because it is island time after all.

What a wonderful walk thru town. The store owners never hesitated to help you get to where you need to. There is some great older structures.

Nice walking area and good stores Beware of the days in which the cruise ships are in St, Maarten because the area can become very crowded

Great for a walk on the board walk. You can see all the beach bars and even stop and have a beer or two. Shopping is great if you like to be bothered at every store. If you don't mind that then go for it.

Phillipsburg is fun. You walk around you can eat drink and shop. There's tons of little souvenir shops but the main attraction is jewelry...We have bought plenty of jewelry there and have never had a problem with any of it. There's a lot of liquor stores and cosmetic and perfume stores. No matter where you stop to eat. The food... More

Great assortment of merchants. Typical of what you would expect. I encourage negotiations but be realistic.

Front street has lots of jewelry stores an many high end stores. A pleasant place to walk. Avoid days with multiple cruise ships in port as it gets very crowded.

Dan and Dennis were so patient with my uncle who was buying a watch. They were so hospitable and offered us drinks and snacks while my uncle picked out the perfect watch. I highly recommend visiting this location.

Front Steet is the Main Street in Phillipsburg and is within walking distance of the cruise ship port. Every other store is a jewelry store but there are shops selling clothes and souvenirs also. There are a few places to stop, cool off and relax. It is also just a block from the water with its restaurants and bars. Parking... More
