Laid out as the central reference point from the waterfront to Front Street, the Courthouse occupies one of three broad plazas from the beach. It's not got a lot to offer from the diversion standpoint, but it is a good reference point to get your...More

It's right on Front Street and is a block from the boardwalk. It's just there and not anything amazing, but it's a historical marker and a great place to take pics

Great place to hanging out. Market available, casinos, beach, restaurants and more. There's many kiosk to rent chairs, umbrellas, jets ski and others attractions. Many cheap markets and many food options.

This view is one of the most photographed between the boardwalk and front streets. Love the historical charm as well.

This is a sweet little courthouse in the heart of Phillipsburg. There's not a whole lot to it, but it's nice to take some pictures, and it has become something of a landmark in this tiny capital.

While visiting St. Maarten, we decided to take an afternoon to poke around Philipsburg. It was an interesting mix of cultures, affluence and abject poverty. The courthouse stood as one building we could check out and photograph for our scrap book!

The Philipsburg courthouse is an historic landmark , that for many years also hosted the post office making it the central point of town, in recent history it has undergone intensive restauration and is back to only being the courthouse again

This building can be found around the centre of Front St. A real old Dutch Colonial historical building in a beautiful setting. Well worth a visit when in Philipsburg and you may just be luck to get a view of inside if the court is...More
