This boardwalk is fantastic: it has a ship taxi harbor, several stores and restaurants with a marvelous view of the beach.

Since the establishment of the boardwalk, it has become a tourist attraction on its own. The various restaurants, cafes and bars offer a variety of choices and easy access from the beach.

We walked the boardwalk several times to get to places near the cruise ship terminal. There are a few businesses on the boardwalk, but most are fronted on Front street. We were safe there both day and night.

Although the stroll on the boardwalk could be lovely since it is such a scenic area, for us it was actually stressful due to the many vendors trying to sell us wifi access and beach chairs..They assume most people are visiting from one of the many cruise ships and immediately try to sell to them.

If you have time rent a beach chair and take a dip. Clear water, sunshine and sand is a great remedy for any stress... More

My wife and I wandered the boardwalk one late afternoon. We found it relaxing, taking in the local shops and sights, happy to be on this island.

This a great addition to the area . You have beach and nice to sit and people watch. Good places to eat at every price range. A lot of cruising and people watching. One side for buying jewels and t shirt s and clothes. And one for foods they Did a good job on this

The boardwalk and Front Street one block inland are the first places that the 'boat people' head after getting off the floating cities (cruise ships) that bring them to St. Maartin for a day. If there are 2 or 3 liners in port (as there often are), the human traffic is shoulder to shoulder. It's not a lot of fun... More
