Excellent view of Marigot, local history, no locals trying to sell you something you don't need, if you are into Geocaching there are 2-3 there

If you like old forts, rusty cannons and a panoramic view of Marigot and jet planes taking off in the distance, its worth the climb. Not handicap accessible.

This is a free tour and will only take about 45 minutes. The view from the top of the fort is amazing and allows you to see a large part of the island. The stairs are a bit steep so if you have difficulty walking, this may not be the attraction for you.

a short walk up the hill to a Beautiful view and interesting history. There are cannons still aimed at the harbor. The breeze atop the hill is a refreshing relief from the sun.

Great views of Marigot and Anguilla. Not too strenuous a hike, a nice breeze at the top. The kids loved the old cannon.

If you are in Marigot take the time to visit the Fort and do a self guided tour to see the view, take some photos and learn about some of the history of the island. The view itself is worth the climb.

We hiked to the top for the views and historical significance. It was an impressive view and very interesting to read about the history of the fort.

Very interesting history of the fort. Wear good walking shoes, bit of a climb up the steps but worth it for the historical read. You can do this without anyone bothering you as you can get on some islands, and enjoy the quiet, the breezes and views of marina, the town. It would be worth it if there was a... More
