Worth the drive through the jungle to arrive at this beach paradise. No amenities except for Nigel if he is around. He'll rent you chairs, etc. or make you a drink. A clean portapotty available. Lots of parking and space. Bring your own stuff is...More

We went just for Nigel's Beach Bar and he was not there. The beach was very busy, very rocky and not as beautiful as the other beaches. Snorkeling was also better at Brewers. Lots of sand fleas so bring spray. Just meh for us compared...More

We couldn't have anticipated the trip to this beach--up steep hills on a road that was sometimes paved and mostly rock and gravel, and barely wide enough for just one car. The trip was definitely worth it though. We arrived to find the beach fairly...More

This is a really beautiful beach that is off the beaten path. There were just a few people there and the water was excellent for swimming and easy snorkeling. A good place to kick back and relax.

We stayed on Tortola for a week. Our villa was a rocky, winding, 3 minute drive to Smuggler's Beach. We made our way there several times during our week stay. Beautiful palm tree lined , sandy beach with beautiful water and views of islands and...More

It was off season but there was a cruise ship in. This beach was still fairly empty. Swim, snorkel and enjoy a hotdog or BBQ. Lovely day!

We read about this beach and were able to navigate the rough, dirt roads and lack of signs to find it! The beach is pristine - looks like the lagoon from Gilligan's island with beautiful sand, gorgeous water, and palm trees for shade. It was...More

Smuggler's Cove is on the west end of Tortola and accessed via a hilly and very bumpy dirt road (4-wheel vehicle is required). Because of that there are hardly any people on this beautiful sandy beach. The day we were there there were maybe 10...More

We stayed just down the road from smugglers cove. We went to several other beaches but Smugglers Cove was our favorite. Nice sandy beach with a big area for casual swimming plus some great snorkeling right off the beach.

Don't know if you got an answer on this or not. In terms of distance, it's not that far from the cruise port. In terms of the road conditions and logistics, I would allow 45 minutes to and from. RICH
