Difficult to get to, but the very rough track is worth it. The bay is beautiful, though while we were there it was quite windy. Difficult to beat in many respects.

We chose to save money on another excursion and just get a taxi to this beach after reading reviews. We are so glad we did! It is a 20 minute drive from the cruise ship, and the roads are a little scary but so worth...More

Smuggler's Cove might be the most beautiful beach on Tortola....the scene is gorgeous with palms and sandy beach and glorious sights of St. John and other islands around the Sir Francis Drake Channel. The water is turquoise and not wild...perfect for swimming and snorkeling...there is...More

This beach was our last stop with St Thomas Boat Rental Charter tour of Tortola. As expected on the Tortola area beaches, we found crystal clear turquoise and white sandy beaches. Recomended👍

Not easy to get to by car, but that makes it a great place to go for the day and enjoy a beach that isn't crowded. No restaurants nor bathrooms there, but there is a guy who does a tailgate just off the beach selling...More

Smugglers is one of the go to white sand beaches that opitimize the carribean experience. However some charter operators bring in small boat loads of margarita swilling while blaring reggae and generally spoil it for everyone until they leave. These idiots anchor just off the...More

The unpaved road in to Smuggler's Cove is daunting & keeps many people out. Some prefer to walk, but it's not a short walk. Once there, you'll see crystal clear, mostly flat water & a small beach with lots of palm trees for shade...perfect for...More

The road to Smugglers Cove is a packed dirt road with some rocks and potholes. We expected the worst but really it wasn't that bad. It is not steep, we did not need 4-wheel drive and it is was less than 1.5 miles from Long...More

Amazing quiet beach with Nigels Bar and Grill right on it. A little hard to get to but well worth spending the day in this nice little cove for lounging, snorkeling and catching some rays.

Don't know if you got an answer on this or not. In terms of distance, it's not that far from the cruise port. In terms of the road conditions and logistics, I would allow 45 minutes to and from. RICH
