A perfect getaway for a day, this charming, half-mile strip of soft white sand is isolated and rarely visited since it is accessible only by a small dirt road.

Stayed at the Long Bay Beach Resort located on this beach. Lots of wave action and probably one of the longest beaches in Tortola. Went to sleep with the ocean noise every night. If you like wave action this is the beach.

beautiful, clean and quiet sand beach. walked along the shore line looking for shells and coral but didn't swim. (dangerous south shore rip tides while we were staying in tortola, so always check the flags or ask locals first) a few locals came for an after work wade. plenty of parking. port o potty was locked. one of the best... If you like taking a long stroll on a sandy beach, this is your spot. It's also easy to enter the water here (sections with no rocks) and there are a couple of open-air restaurants as well.

Beautiful, quiet beach. You enter the beach through mangrove trees. No amenities but beautiful, white sandy beach

On the north of the island, Well worth going l think. We stayed for the afternoon after being tired of the crowds at smugglers cove. Yes a narrow beach but sandy you do have some stones when you first go into the sea but just look and there are spots where you go into the the sea no issues. All... More

We rented a car in Road Town with the intention of visiting a number of beaches. This was last on our list before heading back. The beach is long and quiet, only 5 other people were there. I went out to snorkel and was amazed at the lack of any fish or life whatsoever. I was swimming back in when... More

Visited Long Bay beach resort for a massage in May 2015 and had some time to walk around afterward. Beautiful white sand beach. Wasn't overly busy in the mid morning yet. Sand was pretty warm though. Walked along the beach.

OMG this was totally serene. Only 2 people were there when we went. It's like being on your own private island.

Funnily enough, this is a long beach at the western end of Tortola, looking out to Sandy Cay and Jost van Dyke. Clean, shallow wi small waves, so suitable for younger children

Came into port on a cruise ship... on a day when there were 3 cruise ships. Cruise ships = crowds but we asked and were happy to find this little beach. Nice facilities at the beach club, which you can use free of charge. A very narrow beach with high tide, but gorgeous. Rocks in the water, but spots were... More
