We arrived on Tortola about 10 days after they had received 17" of rain in 17 days. Ridge Road was in terrible shape! No blame on them - it was a terrible storm and it really caused slides and mud and wash outs all along...More

The road is rough in spots, with random speed bumps, and has some very narrow spots. But the views make it worth it. We stayed in Trunk Bay, and every trip involved passage along Ridge Road, I will miss it after this week, along with...More

I was underwhelmed with Tortola on the whole. Expensive and limited options. Most likely will not return.

Great scenery but we were too scared to stop and take pictures! If you up for the adventure and rent a 4x4 you will get great views.

Nature at it's best as there are ancient rainforests and white beaches at Apple Bay and Smugglers Cove. Taken on an escorted Tour of the Island and saw some wonderful sights all the way around the island so it was worth seeing.

Winding high narrow roads through lush vegetation. Great views from bar at high point of road. Most of the Islands few attractions can be seen from road. Our driver pointed them out with interesting historical facts.

We always look for private trips when going ashore via a cruise ship, and we definitely weren't disappointed in Tortola. Part of the trip was through Ridge Road and it was delightful.

The views from Ride Road are spectacular. From the highest peak on Tortola you can look down to the stunning bays with their sailing vessels, amd also spot surfers out ready to ride. The vegetation is lush and the flowers beautiful.

The road is hilly and windy, a little steep in places, but gorgeous views are around every corner. Not much in the way of traffic during the slow season (August and September). Not much open either, but a beautiful drive.
