Nice out of the way beach

Not the nicest beach on the island but definitely vacant. The snorkeling there was exceptional. Watch out for the currents though, they can be strong

This beach was hard to find. After circling back and forth along the coastal road, I eventually took a guess and drove down a sketchy gravel/dirt road. It was steep and rutted. At the bottom was a sandy parking spot and glorious Long Beach. The snorkeling to the left was impressive, with lots of coral and fish. Don't try snorkeling... More

Not a soul on this beach other than us. We had lunch up at the sugarcane restaurant and then drove down here to snorkel. The sand is rocky and not the best, but the water was warm and clear and we saw tons of fish--even two turtles! Great photos here.

Most visitors come to Long Bay by sailboat, staying at the Long Bay Marina. While there, go up to the nearby mountain for the overlook view of the bay.

Long Bay is a lovely beach. If you walk to the far end from the car park there is some great snorkelling on the edges of the reef. Seeing a small shoal of cuttlefish made our holiday, but LOTs of fish and the coral is mostly good here unlike other areas of reef where it is dying away. We did... More

Wow so beautiful here, great snorkeling, so private. Didn't see another person the whole time we were here. Excellent beachcombing and oh so peaceful. Saw an excellent variety of fish including trumpetfish, also great coral formations. Nice view of the Dogs and the northwest tip of Virgin Gorda. After leaving here continue the drive up around the north side of... More

We had the whole beach to ourselves and it was beautiful. Enjoyed the snorkeling and the serenity. Definitely recommend going for a few hours.

This is a nice beach that is a little hard to find. You need to take the last turn off before Hog Heaven. You go down a dirt road that isnt paved or leveled...full of ruts and rocks. At the bottom of the road make a right and there you are. There is parking for a few vehicles and you... More

Variety of healthy coral on outer edge of the reef at Long Bay is amazing. One of the best snorkeling spots at BVI. The bay itself is beautiful. We had this secluded beach to ourselves with only one or two other boats anchored nearby. Easy dinghy access, excellent swimming and snorkeling and no crowds around makes this beach one of... More
