We arrived at 9AM and had the whole beach to ouselves. Many miles long, beautiful colours, reef breaking the waves about 100 feet out, much of the reef extending almost to shore in many places. We entered the water in an area to the left of the path from the restaurant/gift shop where the reef forms almost a horseshoe from... More

Loblolly is a type of Carribean pine tree. It sways like a willow. The beach sand swallows your feet as you walk for miles looking for sea treasures. The colors are nothing short of phenomenal. The sea was like diamonds. Fish nip at the lobster traps hoping to steal lunch. The boy was a nine year old fascinated with our... More

What a treat to have this beach all to yourself! Clean white sand, turquoise clear water and fish swimming close to shore. Great for snorkeling or just splashing in the water. Benches and shade all along the beach and more lobsters!

It seemed like most of the island was here but there is lots of beach. Limited beach chairs. Good snorkeling.

Long white sand beach with snorkeling and surf! Relax under the thatch umbrellas and head to The Big Bamboo for a pain killer. Stop into the gift shop which has great stuff!

Loblolly Beach is a beautiful sugar sand beach with great snorkeling. There are covered places to put your things or relax in the shade. The view is breathtaking and the water is clear. Definitely a must see in Anegada

Just falt out great beach.. Sand is so deep and soft. Maybe a toss up between here and Cow Wreck - might be 25% less windy during the Christmas winds in Dec - April. Cow Wreck is not as wide thought.

We always make a stop at the Big Bamboo. Grab a cocktail and walk out to the beach. The help is fantastic and a lot of fun. This place could handle a large party no problem. The Tiki bar is always fun. I've never eaten there but it looked good. You got to go to Anegada.

A quick taxi ride from the main port and well worth a visit to watch the rollers coming in. We did not snorkel and you would have to be a good swimmer to do so. We did not go to Cow Wreck but that might be better

We parked on the west side of the beach (forget the name of the restaurant right there). There are a number of shaded benches along the vegetation line and beyond that is nice clean sandy beach. Great shallow water swimming near shore with friendly sandy bottom. Decent shallow water snorkeling in close. For an advanced snorkel you can head out... More
