Definitely should be on the list in Grand Cayman-- best if you dive vs snorkel but both are possible. You attract the stingrays into the shallow Bay Area with squid as feed. The rays come and are super friendly so you can caress them. We'd been years ago and had more rays than this time, but a fun activity! If... More

We booked our visit thru our hotel Kimpton Seafire - Red Sail North Sound Eco Tour (also stops at starfish point, mangroves and snorkeling). Water was waist to shoulder high - light winds but still wavy on the sandbar. The rays were friendly and swam right up around ankles and even skimmed waistlevel. Might be scary for small children if... More

We arrive at Stingray city . So famous and so crowded sadly . About 150 people in the shallow water trying to take a picture with stingrays. Boats surrounding all of us .Water is clear , but not crystal clear . People are moving so much around it, that its all sandy and little dirty almost . But I know... More

To be total honest, I was a little scared to get into the water with the rays once I realized how close they would get. However, I am SO glad that I did it! The ocean is so clear and beautiful, and rays are just amazing. They brush up against you like you're not even there. I don't think that... More

Your family will love this off shore adventure! Touch, swim with, feed and kiss these magnificent fish! This is a safe experience, they are used to all the people feeding them, so they swim right up to the boats when they come in.

stingray city is a "must do" while in Grand Cayman. Unfortunately, our trip was less than wonderful. It rained so hard on the trip out that everyone onboard huddled to find shelter. Stingrays are very cool but the water was a bit turbulent. Next up was a reef snorkel. Water and current was too strong for me so I ended... More

I have been to stingray city a few times now... I prefer early morning time before the cruise ship crowds arrive Both times I have gone there were only one or two boats and so no crowd to detract from a natural experience I cannot say enough about this unique opportunity.. it may not be for everyone And be sure... Great fun family experience. Amazing to get in the water for a close up experience with these creatures. Make sure to also check out Starfish Point.

A trip to Stingray City is a wonderful way to spend a few hours. Situated in a natural lagoon the stingrays come because they know they get 'free' food. No tanks, enclosures or barriers, these animals are totally free to do what they want. Standing in a few feet of water on a sandbar a few miles off the coastline... More
