It won't take long to tour this museum, and it does provide a great deal of Cayman history, if you are interested in more than just the beach. There are discounts if you mention the Explore Book, so its affordable too.

The museum is housed in one of the oldest buildings remaining on Grand Cayman, & includes many interesting historical displays. One of my favorites is a room dedicated to diving history which includes many artifacts that I'd never seen anywhere before.

This museum was small but great! It was very educational and well maintained. It also has the most economical place to purchase souvenirs. Highly recommend it!

Definitely a place to go if you love museums. The entry fee is fair and it has its charm. There are some interactive exhibits for the children as well as the adults. Definitely a place to stop in to cool off on a crowded cruise-ship...More

The museum was small as expected but there was an undercurrent of advertising for Cayman. I left feeling like a i just sat through a live action infomercial for Cayman.

It is a combination of history museum, scuba diving hall of fame, and one of the founder family member. Historic building used for several things. Went mostly for the Scuba Diving HOF which was kind of a small exhibition. Ended up appreciating more the history...More
