It won't take long to tour this museum, and it does provide a great deal of Cayman history, if you are interested in more than just the beach. There are discounts if you mention the Explore Book, so its affordable too.
The museum is housed in one of the oldest buildings remaining on Grand Cayman, & includes many interesting historical displays. One of my favorites is a room dedicated to diving history which includes many artifacts that I'd never seen anywhere before.

A wonderful treasure of Caymanian culture and heritage. They also have a wonderful gift shop. A definite must stop if you are visiting the Cayman Islands.
