This was our first stop on leaving our cruise ship. We always like to visit a local museum and this didn’t disappoint. You don’t need to spend too long but there is plenty to see and learn about Cayman Islands

The museum is a wonderful location to learn about the history of the area, from the time the islands were formed to the diving exploits of those who explore the nearby depths. One can tour the museum in less than an hour, or spend far...More

It won't take long to tour this museum, and it does provide a great deal of Cayman history, if you are interested in more than just the beach. There are discounts if you mention the Explore Book, so its affordable too.

The museum is housed in one of the oldest buildings remaining on Grand Cayman, & includes many interesting historical displays. One of my favorites is a room dedicated to diving history which includes many artifacts that I'd never seen anywhere before.

This museum was small but great! It was very educational and well maintained. It also has the most economical place to purchase souvenirs. Highly recommend it!

We took our small kids (9-11) here early in our trip, so we could all get a good introduction into life on the island and the island's history. The museum is kind of small, but it has some really good exhibits and helps one to...More

Definitely a place to go if you love museums. The entry fee is fair and it has its charm. There are some interactive exhibits for the children as well as the adults. Definitely a place to stop in to cool off on a crowded cruise-ship...More
