This was actually the most tame of the ports that we went to on our cruise. They only had a few shops and they weren't anything like as pushy and annoying as the ones in Cozumel and Jamaica. The port itself is just a small...More

This was such a neat area. We just happen to be in Grand Cayman during the off season of the cruise ships so the area wasn't overly crowded. One bus driver told us that during busy season the port could have up to 7 cruise...More

My husband and kids surprised me with this wonderful family vacation. As my family is very widespread, it's hard to get everyone together in one place. We flew down via air Canada on July 7th. Took a cab to our rented condo on 7 mile...More

A lot of cruise ship ports are sort of sketchy. This is the exception. The tenders are incredibly efficient, the port is clean and you feel safe everywhere you go. I highly recommend Grand Cayman as a short stop.

We walked around the port area and enjoyed food and shopping. We then walked into town and it was wonderful. Shops and restaurants of all kinds and friendly people. We never felt unsafe for a moment. There is everything you could want in a few...More

Enjoyed our stop here; we were on a cruise and it was BEAUTIFUL. Love Grand Cayman - so much to see and do, the port was easy on/off with lots of vendors selling their wares.

Use the local bus to get around George town. We visited by boat. Leave cruise terminal and head up cardinal ave or fort street. The bus stop is beside the library. It is $2.50 each way per person to 7 mile beach. The buses are...More

We visited here while on a cruise and this is always our favorite port. The ships dock off shore and tender boats take you to shore (free). It does take a little time because of the slower lines but not really a big deal. Do...More

small town but nice to look round. Usual tourist shops and then usual small town shops that seemed not too overpriced. Overall just a nice small plane to see. The island itself is well worth visiting though with the island clean and beautiful.
