Charles and Brent were terrific!!! They took us to the sandbar for Stingray City and two other sites. They were very attentive to our whole family and made an extra effort to make sure that we had a fantastic visit. Brent made sure to point out fish and rays and coral and things we would have otherwise missed. Then Charles and Brent made sure that every one got to interact with the stingrays!! This was a trip to remember for our family. We were 16 and we completely enjoyed ourselves. If you want to experience a great time snorkeling, we all would recommend giving Native Way the chance to show your family a wonderful time.

We booked snorkeling, stingray city and starfish point. This is the 3rd time I have done a tour with Native Way because why go anywhere else when you already have perfection. I was watching captain and he was aware at all times. Watching the guests and assuring their safety, looking out for other boats to make sure we were safe in the boat. Always aware. Brent was in the water with us. Teaching us about the wildlife and proper ways to feed them and how to interact with the wildlife. Plenty of Water and punch was provided. Bring your own towel and sunscreen and snacks. We had a couple non swimmers on our boat and captain and first mate were very aware of their needs as well as everyone else’s. They were helping people get on board and off the boat as well. Fabulous customer service. The owner, Leland was born and raised in Grand Cayman so you are getting the real deal.

I booked a stingray city excursion for my family through a cruise line, so I had little idea the quality of tour we would end up with. The boat crew were professional, engaging, informative and made sure everyone had a chance to get up close with the rays. Everyone had a blast and didn’t want it to end. If I return, I would book directly with them.

Wonderful excursion for the whole family . It was fun , exciting and very educational . I never knew stingrays are so gentle. A plus is the crew serves rum punch , plays island music and is very interactive . Thanks to David , Lee, And Everton for showing my family a grand time in the Caymans . We will definitely use this company again.

We did the Stingray City and Island Tour and it was the BEST experience!! We wanted a tour that my teens and my mom (76, some mobility issues) could all enjoy. This was a perfect mix of the island and its sea life.
Sharon met us at the pier and took us out to Hell Beach. We sent a postcard from Hell and she gave us a short history of the area. Sharon clearly loves the island, its history and people.
We headed out to the Turtle Center where we saw the efforts to repopulate and preserve the native turtle populations. Our guide there (a friend of Sharon’s, Bendel) walked us around, telling us all about the animals and their breeding programs. We were also able to see native birds, sharks, and a crocodile.
Then we headed out with Captain Edmonton and his first mate Charlie to see the stingrays. Other boats were jammed but ours was not, such a great experience. Edmonton brought squid to feed the stingrays, showed us how to safely handle them, made sure we saw the males and females, and even took pictures with our cameras.
We returned to the port and made a final stop at the local Tortuga Rum Cake Factory and store. The baking was shut down for the holiday but Bev showed us the kitchens and explained the process. We sampled a few flavors of cake and their rum. Delicious!
This tour was truly the highlight of our cruise. I highly recommend Native Way.

This is my third trip with Native Ways to do snorkeling of the reef, visit stingray city and have lunch at Rum Point. This is a great company and it is nice to have a small group tour, there was only 11 of us on the boat. The boat driver and his two crew were very attentive to all of our needs.

Booked this Stingray, Snorkel and Rum Point Beach excursion during our cruise last week. Transportation and coordination from dock to tour was well organized. Chris & David were attentive to everyone’s needs regardless of age or ability. Our excursion was a large group of 30 people and they were professional and made everyone comfortable. They ensured everyone had the opportunity and enough to spend time with the Stingrays, and snorkel. Rum Point beach stop was planned nicely and food was delicious and prepared as soon as we arrived. This was our favorite excursion that we’ve ever done through a cruise line and would highly recommend.

We haven't done a booked tour for several years. We decided to take our kids to Stingray City again now that they are older. Because they were so awesome in the past we used Native Way again. Once again they delivered. Captain Charles and Brent were incredible hosts. We did 2 snorkel stops plus Stingray City. Not only is Native Way great, our party of 12 had the boat to ourselves which was very affordable. Cannot recommend this company enough. Thank you Sharon!!! We will be back.

We made an independent reservation with Sharon for the “Rays, Reef and Rum Point Tour”. Sharon met us at a table set up at the port upon arrival. We took a short van ride to the Grand Cayman Yacht Club. Our boat and crew were waiting to take us on our adventure! After our safety instructions we headed out to Stingray City! (They also had a cooler of punch for us on the boat.)
Our guides were the best! We noticed many large tour companies with a lot of customers but we only had 13 on our boat. This allowed us a lot of personalization and time with the rays. It was amazing! I was a little nervous but Ralph was so good with the rays and made me feel more confident.
After our ray encounter we headed to the reef for some snorkeling. Again safety was a priority and we enjoyed our snorkeling time. The water was beautiful crystal blue. Then we headed to Rum Point where lunch was ready and waiting for us! It was delicious and the beach was very relaxing.
We really enjoyed our day with this tour company and highly recommend them. Looking back, we think this was our favorite excursion! Thank you Sharon and crew for making our trip to Grand Cayman so memorable!

We took the stingray tour this past Friday while our cruise was at Grand Cayman. The staff was very friendly. They provided water and juice for hydration and life jackets for those that needed them. They answered all of our questions and provided a wealth of information. They took great photos so we opted for the photo deal so they placed all of the photos on a flash drive.

They have different rates depending on which tour you do. Their website is very good and has lots of information. Our tour was $65 per adult and included lunch and snorkel gear.

Our port time on the Caribbean Princess is from 7am to 4pm with the last tender leaving at 3:30pm. Does the rum point tour run on time? Will we be back at the tender area by 2:15 as indicated as the end time of the tour? Thank you.

We were on Carnival Freedom with the same port schedule in May 2018. We were back in port in plenty of time for a bit of shopping before getting in line for the tender (even in line early).

We have been trying to contact Native Ways for a private charter like we did with them last summer but no response. Are they still in business? Is there new contact information?

At what age do they start charging for children?
Written February 17, 2017
There is no charge for children under the age of 4.
Written April 2, 2019
Can anyone who toured with Native Way tell me what they charge for individual photos? It's just my husband and me - and no one else wants our vacation photos LOL. Just want 1 or 2 pics to remember the day. Don't need the full $50-60 selection.

I would bring your own waterproof camera. The captain was really nice about taking the pictures.
