Very neat visual and was a cool pull off to check out the schools of minnows and fish jumping. Believe some people might fish here and the history is tarpons washed into this fresh water lake during a major storm and have adapted to the fresh water. Need to see it to appreciate it...…

It's hard to describe the rush of excitement when 20 or 30 tarpon vie for your lure on each cast! A guide is highly recommended. This will be one of the most memorable couple of fishing hours of your lifetime!

While riding around the island, we stopped at the Tarpon Lake to look around. The water level was down several feet from its normal level but it was still worth the stop.
