After driving up a narrow switch back road one comes to the best panoramic views one can hope for on St. Kitts. Bring a good camera and walking shoes as it is quite a walk to go to all three levels of this massive fort....More

Our tour guide gave us a lunch break at the fortress. We ate at picnic tables at the base of the fort. It's a somewhat hard climb up stone steps to get to the actual fort. But, if you are able, it's a very interesting...More

No excuse if you’re on St. Kitts not to visit the fortress. Bigger than you can imagine with views beyond belief. Great history. Engineering marvel. Do expect a difficult climb. So with it.

Biggest fort I've ever been to, took the Brits 100 years to build ( with slaves). Recommend going when no cruise ships in or go early before the tours.

The fortress was a stop on a tour we had. The views from the fort are amazing and the history of the place is well laid out.

When you exit the ship, there should be various modes of transportation to get to Briimstone. There are vans that take locals to various parts of the island, but they don’t run on regular schedules. Brimstone is on the... More

I'm not sure where the bus stop is as we rented scooters, but if the stop is at the main road it is a long and very steep road. Also, even if you are dropped off where you pay it is still an effort to get to the top. If... More
