Had an awesome tour of the island with Greg last week - great for adults and kids alike. Even as someone who has been coming to the island for many years, I learnt a lot about the history, wildlife and was taken to some amazing spots off the beaten track!

Thank you for your contribution concerning your families experience going " off the beaten path" on my unique, and Government Approved 4x4 Safari of St. Kitts! We offer off road 4x4 driving adventures that travel too hard to reach places using specially modified Land Rovers that are equipped with forward facing, tiered seating, allowing our passengers maximum off road driving fun. I look forward to once again exploring our island home, off the beaten path with your family soon. Best Wishes, Greg Pereira Owner

We've lived on St Kitts for a year now and wish we would have done this sooner! The Sugar Heritage Tour was amazing and beautiful. Greg is the perfect guide, very knowledgable in all aspects & super nice! Learning about the history of the sugar industry on St Kitts was so fascinating and the sites were marvellous, breathe-taking. We would do it again! He even treated our small group to a picnic with some of the local produce which was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend Greg's Safaris to anyone on St Kitts or visiting. We'll definitely be taking advantage of his other tours as they become available.

Hello, Thank you very much for your kind words after doing my intriguing 3 1/2 hour "4X4 Sugar Heritage Tour"! Using our unique, and specially modified 4x4 Land Rover Defenders, equipped with tiered seating that face forward, as well as open sides, we offer our guests the best and most comfortable way to explore our island home, "off the beaten path". To highlight the fascinating history of sugarcane cultivation we visit a 250 year old sugar planters home or "Great House", a 200 year old sugarcane windmill and its adjacent "boiling" house, a private mountain top property, 1000 feet above sea level, with views of the entire island, an old cut stone Anglican Church with a Black Jesus, Mary and Joseph, that was once the church of the famous abolitionist, Rev. James Ramsey, who inspired the Rev. John Newton to write his famous gospel song, Amazing Grace! On this off road, 4x4 adventure, that explores the history of sugar on St. Kitts we drive through the lush mountains, traveling from the Leeward Coast to the Windward Coast, on dirt roads, giving our guests a chance to experience the lush interior mountains of the island as well as its quaint country villages and mountainside farms, for an unforgettable up close look at the beautiful "backcountry" of our island home, as only we can do. I am a descendant of Portuguese Indentured laborer's, brought to the island in the 19th. century to cultivate sugarcane, as well as the son of one of the Pioneer hotel developers on the island. Thank you again for taking the time to give your feedback and I look forward to once again touring St. Kitts, off the beaten path, with you.

What a fabulous hike we had this morning with Greg. He took us through delightful country at a pace whereby we could enjoy and absorb the sights, sounds and smells, and shared a lot of his vast knowledge with us. He is a very personable guide with a natural manner (nothing scripted about him) and is clearly passionate about this beautiful island and all the wonders it has to offer. A wonderful experience that we will certainly repeat before long.

I highly recommend the "Valley of the Giants" tour with Greg's Safaris. He's a fifth generation kittitian with a lot of knowledge and experience of the island's history and it's gorgeous diversity. The hike is absolutely everything that you could ask for. It was a bit of We saw trees that looked like they were from the movie Avatar. We saw the island's main stream/river. Lots of great wildlife. Overall, it's a steal for what he charges for a tour.
