I absolutely loved St. George's. I particularly liked the basalt construction and the markers on the outside grounds. Such a unique structure. It is possible to climb to the top of the tower and the views of Basseterre are superb - including Nevis in the...More

Another great album place to see an historic place. I really enjoyed the old buildings and the views from just about every one of them. The cemetery was neat also. A little spooky going in and up but while you are here might as well....More

I did a bike ride all over Nevis and got to see the many amazing sights and historical buildings. The St.George's Anglican Church is beautiful, so pretty and has incredible archictectural features. well worth a look!

This is well worth the stop. Hard to believe this church was built so long ago and still stands and is used. Very interesting and the view is unbelievable from the church property.

We went there the Sunday while we were on vacation and absolutely loved it. I do suggest that you dress up because everyone else does dress very nice for church (like suits, dresses, and hats) and bring a fan because it is very hot in...More

We were walking around Basseterre and bumped into the church Bishop who said "Would you like to see the church?" His cell phone rang and he handed his keys to us and say "go ahead and open the church." Glad we did. He gave us...More
