This is one of the main churches of the city. When we visited it there was a graduation ceremony, so we did not not wander around too much, and took some pictures from the side. The pulpit is raised which makes it ideal for ceremonies. Beautiful stained glass windows.

They sing a lot but then they asked if there was anyone new to the service and being the only white man there I raised my hand. They asked where I was from and gave me a colourful pin to welcome me. Typical St Vincent hospitality.more than that actually. I was welcome to come every service they had. They had welcomed me to their church.

Some of the comments seem to be related to another building. The building shown here is not the Kingstown Methodist Church in St. Vincent

Was made very welcome at this church which is under restoration. Has lovely galleried sections. Quite colourful. It is in need of funds to bring it back to its former glory.

On route to the botanical gardens we stopped at the church. We were made to feel very welcome. Go up stairs to take a closer look at the organ

situated on the Main Street in Kingstown proper is the Methodist Church which spans two roads the main road "Back Street" and "middle Street" though refurbished the historical beauty of the building is maintained. What use to be the old Methodist primary school is now an auditorium which maybe booked for seminars and conferences. There is a traditional organ and a beautiful chandelier which is worth viewing. Buried in the church yard are historic Vincentians complete with grave stones with a brief history

This is my family church, was in St.Vincent for a family reunion and in respect to my late grandmother we all had a church day. The church gave a warm welcome to the family, which was very heart warming to myself.
