Wow, what an amazing experience with a 4 day sailing trip in the Grenadines! We had extensive dealings with Katie prior to booking, who was extremely patient and took the time to answer all of our many questions. Had an amazing sailing trip with Capt Blaz and Chef/first mate Lu. Weather didn't really cooperate but Blaz took us into some more protected areas and Lu feed us some amazing meals: Rotis, chicken rotis, homemade banana bread etc.
Many other companies may offer a lower cost option, but this is definitely one of those times where its worth paying a little extra for a significantly superior product.
Can't recommend Sail Grenadines high enough. Fantastic experience and lovely people to deal with. Katie is amazing and her assistant Ve Ann helped us plan all the details, Blaz and Lu were amazing ship mates. Can't wait to do this again!!

Just returned from a three night sail around the Tobago cays on NEUROSEAS. Despite the heavy rain, Captain Zander and chef Amanda made us very comfortable, and we enjoyed sailing around Bequia, Canouan and Union Island. We flew from Barbados to Bequia.
The Catamaran was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped with paddle boards, and fishing rods etc.
Both Zander and Amanda were very knowledgeable, and attentive and looked after us really well.
My only regret is that we didn’t book for longer, then we could have seen more of the Grenadines.
Highly recommend this company and we send our sincere thanks to our two fabulous crew.

We chartered a 56 ft Benetteau between 6 of us, for a week. It was well equipped with 3 ensuite bedrroms and as skippers berth with heads. Ve-Ann at SG was particularly helpful in every respect from booking taxis to advising us of contacts on various islands. the only equipment which was missing was a boat hook and a snubbing line!

Have just returned from a competent crew course and have had an amazing time. Everyone at Sail Grenadines was supremely helpful from the lovely Jimmy in the taxi on St Vincent through to the bosses on Beqia.
Despite having a crisis with losing the instructor less than 24hours before we started they moved heaven and hell to find a replacement who was a brilliant teacher and great company.
Whilst we were initially a bit put off by the slightly awkward journey we shouldn't have been. All went smoothly and the Grenadines are an amazing place to visit. Seeing them from a yacht was probably the best way of seeing them.
We loved the super relaxed atmosphere and t it e fact that it wasn't horribly over developed.
If you are reading this and are in any doubt then you doubting uneccessarily. Just go you will have an amazing time.
Thanks to the team.

Thank you Katie and Sail Grenadines for making our experience so memorable. From the first time I emailed Katie to inquire about our trip to the day we sailed, my wife and I were treated like family! We only spent 1 day on the boat on a day sail from Bequia to Canouan but it was our introduction to sailing and the highlight of our trip to the Grenadines! We are already planning to come back and bring our 4 boys and friends along for a longer charter the next time! Thank you to Katie and family for making our trip so wonderful! From coordinating a short day sail to a longer charter, Katie will custom design your perfect sailing adventure! I would highly recommend this exceptional company for your next sailing trip in the Grenadines!

We spent 10 days sailing the Caribbean with Sail Grenadines. It was simply amazing. The boat was well equipped and excellently maintained. Any issues were immediately addressed by Katie and her team.
Planning a holiday for 7 people could not have been easier (including 3 small children). Katie was always available to answer many questions and ensure that we were comfortable. Everything was so professionally done – meeting us at the airport, showing us where to provision the boat, arranging restaurant reservations. Anything we asked for was quickly catered for.
The sailing area is fantastic. Although it can get windy and the sea is lumpy, you are always confident that your family and crew are safe on such a well maintained yacht! They know the area well and gave many perfect tips on where to anchor and sail.
We will definitely be coming back! Just wish we could have stayed longer.

We spent a week on a Bavaria cruiser 46 with Kieran as our Skipper. The whole experience was first class. We booked the holiday with Katie at the Southampton boat show, it was effortless. Very good email communications between Katie and ourselves throughout the whole booking, lead up and throughout the trip. We were met by our taxi driver who took us the short trip from the airport to the marina where we met Kieran.
Kieran our skipper was exceptional! He was polite, friendly, very knowledgeable about the boat, the area, sailing and genuinely knowledgeable guy. He was fantastic with letting us choose where we wanted to sail, at teaching us and letting us do as much of the sailing as we like. He was great with our two year old daughter and fantastic with our teenage son too. We sailed pretty much all the time with very little motoring, which is just what we wanted. He even sailed us into a bay on onto a buoy without the engine at all! The teenager and ourselves were very impressed.
I was worried about having a stranger on the boat with us, but i didn't need to be. Kieran became part of the family when we wanted him to be and disappeared into the background when we didn't. He was very easy going and was the perfect person for his job.
The boat was very well kitted out, clean and in good working order. The places we visited whilst sailing where tranquil and picturesque, just like you see in moves, it didn't seem real.
We visited Bequia - Salt Whistle - Chatham - PSV - Clifton, Union - Tobago Cays - Mustique - Bequia - Young Island. Salt Whistle was our favorite.
A great big Thank you to Katie and her team and to Kieran. A dream holiday come true.

We spent 3 nights/4 days sailing the Grenadines and enjoyed every breath-taking minute! My husband and I take a couples vacation every year with friends, and this one will be hard to top. The water was stunning, and it was so fun to see and explore the different islands. We sailed 3-5 hours each day (collectively, not always at the same time) and travelled to 5 different islands from our starting marina in St. Vincent. The only big pitfall to our 39 ft catamaran was the lack of A/C in the cabin rooms. The bathrooms were really small, but for only a few days, we survived. I would absolutely recommend planning a boating vacay!

We sailed a three day charter on 'Buzzbee' and were delighted. Katie aced the booking and povisioning tasks, and the boat was in excellet condition. This was our first ever sailing charter, and what will bring us back is definitely Captain Andell David. This native Grenadian knows these waters by heart and inspires great respect for his sailing abilities. He showed us the ropes and secret places, cooked us some mean Barracuda curry, and told us fantastic stories of sailing the Grenadines and the crazy cast of characters that people this archipelago. Sail Grenadines was a perfect first time sailing experience; ask for Captain Andell

We are complete novices at sailing and recently did the five day RYA competent crew course aboard the 40ft Cinnamon, under the patient tuition of John Sharratt.
We had little idea of what to expect and made a few errors in our decision to provision the boat ahead of our arrival. It’s a better idea to sort our provisions yourself I think. The boat was very clean and tidy and we were glad that we had hired it just for us as a couple, more than three people would have been a bit too snug.
We boarded the boat at Blue Lagoon Marina on St Vincent, having stayed a couple of nights at Blue Lagoon Hotel. In all we spent six nights on Cinnamon and five full days sailing. The islands are all delightful, Tobago Cays was a particular highlight. John would ring ahead to different beach bars to arrange dinner ashore each night, generally reached by dinghy as there are few marinas.
We did a lot of steering (with mixed skill levels!), knot tying, mooring techniques, man overboard drill, some basic chart reading, sail setting and lots more. There was a lot to take in. John was a great teacher, approachable and informative. It was pretty tiring, but we’re in our fifties - others may find it easier!
We enjoyed it so much that we’re hoping to return in a few months to do the day skipper course, hopefully with John again.
We finished the holiday with a week at the Bequia Beach Hotel, reviewed separately, which I would highly recommend.

Written June 19, 2017
Hi!
Sorry we dont answer in french! How many people are you and do you want a private yacht with captain for 14 days? Yes we can organise a trip but the price will depend on which boat you would like. If you are travelling to Martinique we can deliver your yacht here also.
Written June 25, 2017
Bonjour,
Muriel

Hi Muriel,
Sorry for the delay in replying to you. You can take children of any age on the boat but I would recommend doing less sailing distance than Martinique all the way to the Grenadines - you may be better starting in St Vincent or Union Island so you do shorter sails which is more fun for children.
Would you have a captain on the yacht or would you be sailing yourselves ?
We take children under 5 if it is a private cruise, but we would not sail with children under 5 on a cabin cruise.
Katie
