Where are the pirates

Stopped in here on a sailing trip. Nice sleepy bay where in past times pirates would have liked to arrive at. It is a beautiful place and relaxed.

Went there to see the beach. Not as pretty as others on carricaou. Trash on the beach and close to the road. Busy with boats and not much to do

This bay is always full of boats of various sizes, shapes, habitation, etc. Up or down the Grenadines, God's Chosen seem to eventually show up here-- for a while-- and then move on. But they are worth discovering, As Time Goes By.

Calm waters when others seemed a bit rough. A great spot for a family beach day. This beach is popular with boaters.

I was there only two days, but there were really great. I did scuba diving for the first time with Lumbadive Dive Center which is such a good resort with passionnate people. People in Tyrell Bay are very kind and helpful. A great place to go back again for sure!

A quaint port village reminencenct of older days in the Caribbean. A preferred stop for yachts people and a great place to spend a few hours idlily walking around. Fun bars, restaurants, markets and places to hang for a beer or two....

I travel a lot around Carriacou, but for some reason, I always feel great when I am back in Tyrell Bay. It's not the liveliest place in the world, but a great place to just informally plunk yourself into the water and swim all day. There are grocery stores and a few restaurants so you won't starve. There are boats... More

Not a tourist attraction. Mainly a quiet calm anchorage location for visiting yachties, not suitable for families, not a paradise, friendly enough locals. Food lovers no go zone! A stop- over if you are going to do day trips.diving. Snorkelling only.

This is a popular place for sailboats, so lots of boats in the bay and boaty people around. :) There are a few restaurants along the main road and at least one little grocery store. It would probably be a nice place to stay for a few days, either on a boat or in whatever lodging is there. The beach... More

A nice sandy bay, with many restaurants, rum shacks, convenience stores and dive shops. It's just a 10-20 minute walk from one end to the other.
