Very old fashioned. I hope the care takers love the animals - enclosures seem very small- like prison.

I haven't visited the zoo since childhood but was so surprised when i visited. More room for the animals. The area was clean. I got a good excercise by walking lol. I did not even get to see the deer but will on my next visit.

I had a wonderful day at the zoo with my husband. Parking was $20. TT and Tickets where $30. TT per adult. There is also a canteen. It was a nice experience. We had so much fun that we decided that at least once for the yr we would go visit.

I find my every visit to the zoo absolutely soothing , i love to just sit quite and listen to the sounds of nature and the animals .It's in the city but yet it feels so far from the hustle of everyday life . Plus the staff is so very well informed and always willing to take the time out... More

This was a great little zoo! The admission was $5 USD. We spent about 3 hours here. The giraffe feeding and the flamngos were the best parts.

Nice range of animals from local and international countries Plenty birds, snakes, monkeys. A range of wild cats, fishes and other critters. Wednesdays are the Snake Feeding day. But if you go before lunch time, you can get the opportunity to see other Zoo handlers feeding other animals too.

We spent around 3 hours in the zoo looking around the exhibits. There are new ones currently being built as a lot of the old enclosures are small and not really fit for purpose with a few of the animals looking distressed. The real downside for me was the staff. Many were just sat playing on their phones and messing... More

I'll let you in a little secret about us - we love animals and visit zoos everywhere we go! The Emperor Valley Zoo is well maintained and the animals are happy. The new chimpanzee, tiger and giraffe enclosures are spacious and awesome. The monkey cages need some improvement, which is in the works. You can feed the giraffes 4 times... More

If you love zoos and animals, this is the place to go. Extensive refurbishments, added attractions, look to spend the day.

Go in with low expectations and you may just have a good time. There are definitely tons of exhibits! I personally enjoyed the flamingos, and most especially the giraffes. The place isn't really maintained that well, but overall it's still not the worst thing in the world. It's a decent time on a weekend when you have nothing better to... More
