Spring Vacation - Afternoon at the Zoon

Children enjoyed the day at the zoo. Not as large as our zoos in the United States (referring to the Bronx Zoo and San Diego Zoo) but still a nice afternoon with the children.

Since my last review, I've seen a-lot of improvements.Thumbs up to all that are or was involved in this. The new attractions are a hit and can't wait to see what other attractions or animals the zoo would be getting/displaying in the future. Great friendly staff are there to greet you and they do not hesitate to explain anything you ask.... More

My visit was later in the afternoon, which was perfect to observe the beautiful baby tigers ! They were adorable and seemed quite energetic and playful. The large cage/ enclosure is well designed to allow the public to view the newborn cubs. Great for photo ops! The zoo's new addition -two male giraffes were interesting to watch. We chatted with... While I'm not a zoo person my boys loved it and did ask to go back the next day. The price is great and it has all the same animals as any big American or European zoo. The staff are friendly and easy to talk with.

Did this a few times with my nieces and nephews. Its a nice way for the kids to bond and also great for a day trip. It's relaxing and the animals are all so adorable. I would recommend this to families who need a day out. Take a trip to the zoo and enjoy the scenery.

Went here to visit the newly added animals to the animal family. Saw the new giraffes as well as the new warthog. This place has really transformed from the place I knew as a child. Looking forward to seeing the new improvements with the installation of the new tigers and tiger case

Upon visiting Trinidad we were intrigued to visit their zoo to see the new addition of the baby tigers. Fascinating to see all of the tigers, parents and cubs. The zoo is clean, well maintained, easy trails to follow interesting presentation of a collection of Caribbean animals, reptiles and beautiful selection of birds. Kids would appreciate this site as much... More

The recent upgrades and addition of new exhibits makes this a good place to spend a day. However, the concessions are poor with very limited and unhealthy choices in an untidy environment. Very limited seating for diners, and bad smells all around. Still an axciting place for kids though.
