The Temple in the sea and the Monkey God statue are a must visit and both demonstrate the historic importance the East Indian community have with my favourite Caribbean island.

Peaceful and uplifting with the only 85 feet Hanoman Murthi in the Caribbean. Make sure to walk around the Murthi or Statue and obtain that special blessing of Lord Hanooman.

The temple complex has a majestic 85-foot tall murti (effigy) of the Hindu god, Lord Hanuman, apparently the largest Hanuman murti outside India. A fascinating piece of India in Trinidad. Well worth a short visit.
