I've had the pleasure of visiting the Forest Reserve twice with Newton George. Each time it was a welcomed opportunity to learn from his wealth of knowledge and experience in birding and on the flora and fauna in the reserve. A visit to the Forest Reserve is a must for nature and bird lovers and Mr. George is one of... More

We had a 3 hour trek with our guide Fitzroy who is an experienced guide and a remarkable ability to spot birds and wildlife. We discussed the type of trek we wanted, and he adapted a walk to suit our needs, and after a bit of negotiating, we were off on a wonderful walk through the rainforest. Highly recommended.

We were lucky enough to catch Newton George for birding in the reserve. He travels a fair amount. As a birder, I've heard of him for years. His reputation as a expert bird guide is well deserved. He is truly amazing. The gorgeous birds here include jacamars, trogons, hummingbirds, of course Mot Mots. But my most wished for bird, only... More

Tobago may be a tiny Island, but what an Island it is. We have just driven up through the rainforest from Roxborough to Bloody Bay. The drive is quite tricky in places and some scary roads, but well worth the effort. We chose not to employ a guide and stayed on the main road. Right or wrong i don't know,... More

This wonderful rainforest was among the first to be so designated. Although devastated by a hurricane in the 1960s it is still spectacular with lots of new growth. We went on a birdwatching trip with the incomparable Newton George, whose ability to spot birds was truly remarkable. He spotted two common potoos roosting. These birds blended in so well with... You can drive through and across this high range rainforest, or get involved in guided walks and tours, see the wonderful birds, and the amazing flora.

This place is out of this world. Oh my, just being there is most beautiful. Before you reach the site there is a passage way where you drive in order to reach there. There is plenty mists, flowers, trees, etc. From the gorgeous mountains and the place is like a look out so you get to see beautiful Tobago. The... More

The trails are very good and very clearly marked from the side of the road, but they do quickly become quite steep and are all pretty wet and slippery. If you are in sandals, this is not the place for you and you need robust footwear. There are plenty of free trails and their really is no need to pay... More

To all Nature lovers this is such an awesome place to visit. There is a main building that you can stop at especially if you have a guide. I met a stray dog there who was very charming.
