There's absolutely no reason not to do the boat tour to the nylon pool. We went from Store bay beach with Sugarlips...We've been so many times and it's amazing every time. Party boat with music and good vibes. You Can bring your own drinks too....More

We took the boat by Cool Runnings which was the best idea we ever made. It cost 100$ TTD a person. They were on time and the tour guide was amazing as he gave insight to the names of the different species of corals and...More

You get to the Nylon Pool by going out in a glass bottom boat from Pigeon Point. What is amazing is that you are out in the middle of the ocean yet you can stand in the "pool" which is only a few feet deep....More

We visited the nylon pool as part of a boat tour (100TT total). Expect to spend ~20 minutes here. The sand is good for exfoliating, and fun to float around in 3 ft of water. I wouldn't spend more than 20$ for the whole trip,...More

We took the obligatory glass bottomed boat ride to snorkel and visit this pool. It exceeded my expectations, and finding that the "sand" underfoot was good for my skin, I slathered it all over. There was Soca playing from one of the boats and people...More

We saw the nylon pool while on a glass bottom boat tour with a local fellow from Buccoo nicknamed "Spaceman". (He also set us up with a jet ski rental) The nylon pool is a very shallow spot right in the middle of the ocean...More

We booked a day out on the water with Barry of LB Tours. We were picked up at the hotel and taken to the harbour at Buccoo to join our small fishing boat and the five other guests. After a spot of fishing, a cruise...More

A great experience as previous reviews - standing in 3 feet of crystal water in the middle of the Caribbean Ocean - highly recommend.

To find this phenomenon in the middle of the ocean is quite amazing standing in three foot of water is mind blowing.

No. We took a small boat from Castara. However, we did consider doing what you suggested, but chose to go by boat instead.
