great for an hour visit. I love these old colonial locations. The view up there is breath taking! The road to reach there is quite steep so make sure your car tires are good especially in the rain!

Visited Fort King George for the historical value. The drive up was nerve eventful-lots of curves and a steep climb. The views of the city was awesome.

The view is spectacular. Various seating with very nice park benches. Bring your lunch and enjoy your day.

The view is amazing here. It is a mountainy drive to get to Fort George, but it is good to be able to stop there to take awesome pictures because you are high up in the mountains. I wouldn't suggest staying for more than 30mins or so because there isn't a whole lot to do. There are vendors selling trinkets... More

My family and I enjoyed visiting the amazing historical site. To touch and see the actual cannons used in history. The little bunker camp, the over all entirety of the site was really wonderful. Even the drive up the mountain was great. They could fix the huge pot holes..

You can almost see the colonial ships on the horizon as you take in the sights at this old fort. A must see in my book.

The museum at the Fort is so rich with historical documents and artifacts, it is worth the small fee to enter! The grounds are beautifully kept and the staff is friendly and knowledgable.
