Up above the city, and looking out across the sea in the morning light, you can't help but appreciate the beauty of nature. Not to mention the clean soothing breezes that waft in and around the Fort and the warm 'hand' of the sun upon your face. Poetic and serene! Ideal for anyone who may want a moment to reflect... Awesome view from here. Great place to hang out. We always take the drive up here when we visit the sister isle. Very Romantic at sunset into night.

Stopped in on our way out of town today (Tuesday). A quick drive up from the heart of Scarbourough. The site has some incredible history of the island and a great Amerindian/Carib/Colonial museum that you can access for $2 US. Well worth a look around and took some incredible pictures. Beautiful view of the whole island - take an hour... More

This museum is largely improved from my last visit years ago. There are great exhibits ranging from the original indians thru the colonization days. Excellent ceramics and pottery. Great old maps and historical documents. You can even see burial skeletons, (which are a no-no in America today). There are a lot of African items, but this begs the question: Where... More

I visited Fort King George with 2 young boys. The fort is not to hard to find and with a short drive from Scarborough we got there easily. The fort offers great views over Scarborough and Bacolet. There are alot of historic buildings which look in great condition and some great Cannons to have your picture with. We went on... More

This is not a large museum, but it contains a chock full of history. Even the building and the site is historic (both well maintained and beautiful). There is a wonderful display of artifacts in the building including a death mask of Patrick Castagne. It's worth the look.

Visited the museum. Small entrance fee. Lots of stones and all time things to be seen. Everything well labelled. Skulls and even skeleton can be seen here. Old time tools, canon balls, spears etc. A decent visit.
