serene beautiful quiet side of the island

go here if you want to be away from the big resorts and crowds. Some days its just you and the kiteboarders on the beach. Very laid back, but oh so pretty. Always a nice breeze.

We loved watching the kite surfers this afternoon. A light storm blew in and the wind was epic. So fun to watch the show! Well worth the drive!

Go away from grace bay, Go out and discover this much nicer shore. Enjoy privacy and peace, without having solicitors and signs warning of private seating. the water is crystal clear blue, firm sand, and breathtaking views!

Turquoise water, with amazing trade winds, shallow water for about three miles out. Perfect conditions for learning to kiteboard.

This beach is truly the hidden gem of the island particularly for families. The beach is a 2 mile wide sandbar. You can walk out for 1-2 miles in knee deep water. Lots of kite boarders and jet skiers. It is so peaceful. Kids spent a couple of hours playing football about 200 yards from the shore. BEAUTIFUL. We only... More

Gorgeous beach with lots of kite surfers to watch! You can walk out forever and the water doesn't get deep. There is a shipwreck that you can see from shore and they say you can walk out to it.

Long white beach. It is a narrow beach when compared to Grace Bay but still very nice. Water is shallow so you can walk out a long ways. Great place to watch kite surfers.

Beautiful beach, many wind surfers there the day we went, it was very impressive to watch! You can see a ship wreck near shore, some paddle boarded to it on one of the calmer days.

We stayed in the long bay hill area and was just a quick 5 minute drive from the beach. From Grace Bay, about 10 minute drive. There are multiple public path entries where you can just park your car and walk up the sandy path. This was the most empty beach of all the beaches we went to and loved... More

We stayed at a villa on the east end of the beach above the bluffs and spent a good amount of time walking and swimming on the beach. With the Shore Club and other villas being constructed on the beach I think the secret is out. Still a very quite spot to walk and swim and get some great views.... More
