The two crew who took us out snorkeling were great people. The captain really knew the reefs and the areas to take us to and the snorkeling guide was a delight - she was enthusiastic, knowledgable and a real joy to spend the afternoon with. Couldn't recommend it more.

Friendly, knowledgeable crew, lovely boat, not crammed with tourists, no loud music - it was all about full appreciation of the amazing sights on offer, rather than a party boat. A little pricier than some but the operation is a classier outfit and worth the extra. Big thanks too for the cliff jumping stop on West Caicos - a beautiful... More

Took the North/Middle Caicos Eco-tour with Big Blue and it was superb. Our guide Eduardo was a local and knows his stuff, but the whole staff were exceptional. Full-day tour began at 7:40 with resort front pick-up and they dropped us back at 4:45! We had a 1/2 hour boat ride to North Caicos, where we were met and taken... More

We did the Kayak Eco Tour and the Snorkeling Eco Tour separately. Though their costs are higher than other companies, Big Blue is definitely worth the extra $ and is very professional. For the snorkelling tour, I was surprised that I became seasick when we arrived at the reef. I got to snorkel just fine but then became seasick again.... More

Bummer you felt seasick and missed the second snorkel location. Glad we were able to accommodate and get you off the boat to enjoy paradise another way. Thank you for joining the eco-tour and for recommending Big Blue. More

Rent a kayak on your own paddle over to mangroves for an hour. Its all you need to see. The guide is knowledgeable and friendly. I dont understand why BBU was pushing their sunscreen when you dont swim on Kayak trip. Made us a uncomfortable when confronted about use of our sunscreen.

Sorry you were made to feel uncomfortable about the sunscreen policy. We feel it is important to adopt a biodegradable policy in the TCI but there's no reason we should be unfriendly about it. Guests often swim from the beach on the kayak tour or trail there hands in the mangrove waters. More

My husband and I really enjoyed our afternoon with Big Blue- we loved seeing Grace Bay from a boat, saw some beautiful fish, and felt like we were in good hands. We did both notice, however, that the boat driver and scuba instructor could have provided a little more value with minimal effort. We would have enjoyed some information about... More

Glad you enjoyed the scuba experience. It does sound like the crew might of been having an off day as we're generally very exuberant about scuba diving and showing off the islands. Thanks for coming. Hope we can make it up to you next time. More

I recently went on the Kayaking Eco-tour with Big Blue Unlimited. It was a great experience! My tour guide was both friendly and knowledgeable about the mangrove ecosystem. We were lucky enough to see some cool marine life, such as a nurse shark, lemon sharks, turtles and conch! Additionally, we also visited the iguana sanctuary and the tour provided us... More

Thanks for your recommendation and for joining our kayak eco-tour. Both our kayak and SUP tours in the area generally see tons of life. The juvenile sharks and turtles are such a treat to see in their natural habitat. More

My 13 year old daughter and I went on an Edge of the Reef trip in mid-February and had a good time despite heavy wave action. We specifically chose Big Blue after snorkeling on one of the more popular 'party boat' catamarans. Inexperienced, middle-aged drunk snorkelers trying to walk in fins and way too much emphasis on the rum punch.... More

Thank you for your detailed report, recommendation and recognition of our snorkel/eco-tour philosophy. Sorry that it was such a tough day on the water but thanks very much for your assistance with the queasy guests and your feedback. Sounds like we owe you one. Brent is an experienced boat captain and guide. He's good company and an asset on any... More

Good selection of kayaks (duals, open singles, closed singles, and ones with rudders available). Easy to find location in a great spot to set off from (concrete boat ramp), with friendly staff. If you want to explore in a kayak while in the Turks and Caicos, check this place out, the paddling is beautiful in that area.

Thank you for your report. Kayaking is a large part of our water sports program and we have a diverse fleet. In addition to the range of recreational and sit-on top kayaks we also have a handful of touring kayaks available longer range exploration or overnight trips and kayak kites for easy downwind travel :) Our protected Leeward location makes... We hit the water with Big Blue on a windy but rather sunny day in March. There were four of us on the Octopussy with Captain Roger and mate Marcia. We had the boat for the day so Roger first took us on a tour of the southern shore of the island followed by a trip around Northwest Point. We... More

So glad you all persevered!! Sounds like the extra effort and hardship to reach the remoter reefs paid off. And agreed, that's where some of the best snorkeling in the Caicos Island is to be found. Thank you for your thorough review and acknowledgement of our environmental preservation efforts. Sustainability and minimal impact is vital. Thanks for joining us and... More
