Sandy Point is unique geographically, unspoiled by humans. Limited access and if you're lucky enough to access this incredibly raw and natural beach, you will see and experience what the Island was like 100 years ago.

Visited in September so we missed the turtles but you could still see the large nests left in the sand. Beautiful beach.

We walked down the beach to Sandy Point because the refuge was closed. You could see the tracks left by the turtles in the sand as they made their way to the sea.

This beach is extraordinary. If you are on the island between October and March, this is a must see beach. During the summer you will not be able to go as it is turtle nesting season. To really get the most out of your time...More

What a wonderful beach to walk. Turtle tracks from the water to the nest in numerous locations. The beach is attained via the Sandy Point Park entrance or by, better, a great walk from the end of the road at Frederiksted.
