The fort is a national treasure. Currently there are restoration activities which can add to your enjoyment if you are interested in discussions about architectural and building methods of the eighteenth century.

Well maintained fort with nice information about the area and the fort. Nothing super special about this place, but being in such a tropical place, it was a neat experience after seeing a bunch of forts in the states and its generally a colder experience.

The Fort is beautiful, the views of the island are amazing. It is not big so you won't get tired when exploring the Fort and would only take 45 minutes of your day at most, they also have a very short film in the beginning...More

Great place to stop in for a self-guided tour. Central to the Christiansted area, shopping and dining, so it's very convenient to stop in for an hour or so. Very picturesque place.

Don't miss this inexpensive ($3 for adults, kids free) walk through history. Self-guided tour helps visitors to understand the many layers of history that St. Croix has, from slavery to plantations to current times. Beautiful views of Christiansted.

Interior exhibits were well marked and informative. Some external exhibits were hard to read due to deterioration. Still very engaging to walk through grounds and imagine life back then. Always great to visit our beloved national parks!

Just interesting to see the fort, canons and the views from it. Understanding how long reef have protected Christianssted from pirate attack because the only access point could be controlled with cannons. Seeing the woollen uniforms they had to wear in the days before aircon....More

A cost is listed at the entrance, but at the time we were there no one was working! I don't remember how much.

Yes, the story is in the Fort, and there is information also on a wall in the customs building across the street, where the information booth is. Quite an interesting story of young Alexander Hamilton! Much of the story... More
