Short boat ride to great entertainment.

When we went by the published activities brochures nothing was accurate. Luckily we met a lady who worked in the gift shop at the Cay and she gave us the schedule of events. The evening we went featured the steel pans which my wife was desperate to hear live while we were on St Croix. The music was great and... More

This was our 3rd time here. The location is excellent. Unfortunately, it has gone down hill. The beach which was cleaned daily, now maybe 2 times per week. The fountains have been turned off. Each guest is allowed 1 beach towel per day and if you lose it somehow there is a $10 replacement charge. Another new manager. The little... More

Recently stayed in hotel on the Christiansted boardwalk. This little island with its hotel is a mere ten minute ferry ride from the mainland. The ferry is five dollars per passenger round trip. Once on the island you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas for $10 and $20. The outside restaurant on the beach serves food as well as drinks.... More

This is a little island in the Christiansted Harbor with a restaurant and hotel. You take a little ferry boat from the dock in Chrisiansted over and back which only takes a few minutes each way. The people on the ferry are really nice and are happy to answer questions about anything and everything regarding St. Croix. There is a... More

This was the best place by the boardwalk to go barefoot on a beach. It's a small beach, but fun to walk. You can get food and drinks at the beach bar. The hotel is pretty deserted, but there are people here and some nights, parties. It's worth the $5 round trip boat ferry to visit.

Very protected and easy snorkel, excellent for beginners. It's the only beach in Christiansted and you get a boat across (5$ round trip).

The ferry will get an adult to the island for $5 and comes every 5-10 minutes. The beach was not crowed when we visited. It is carefully raked and has soft sand extending into the water. We did not find the snorkeling to be good. The Harbormaster restaurant has a good bar but a restaurant that is not quite that good.... More

The short ferry ride costs $5 per person to get to an ugly, small beach. Watch out for motorboat off thou snorkel here. The hotel on Protestant Cay offers a beach bar and restaurant. This might be a good place for families with small children who just want to wade the surf, but for serious snorkeling, give it a pass.
