We are the original home of the Lime In The Coconut. Relax on the beach, catch a live performance on our famous stage by the islands best musicians, dance, eat great fare, jet ski, snorkel, visit our T-Shirt shop for authentic souvenirs, and even plan an ATV tour around the island. We wanted to relax and enjoy good food, drinks, and music. Thankfully, we were able to do just that. We purchased an umbrella and beach chair setup and relaxed for ours. Brian at the dive shop was helpful and friendly! The bartender, Alex, made the best drinks! A couple hours in, we dined in at Rhythms and enjoyed some tasty fried snapper and mahi mahi tacos…absolutely delightful! Our server was kind and attentive (wish I remembered her name). We returned to our setup and continued to order tasty drinks until we left for the evening. The best part of it all - meeting new people and making connections. It was a short taxi ride from Frederiksted city center. Parking seemed ample if you’re driving. We came early 9:00, rented chairs and umbrellas and enjoyed the beautiful beach. Has lunch at Rhythm. Oh my gosh the blackened mahi was amazing, the blackened chicken tacos were fantastic and the nachos were so so good. Best cruise excursion meal ever - and the mango mojito - so refreshing. All of this and fantastic service from everyone. We will definitely be back!!! Loved it!!!Visited May 2024Travelled with friendsWritten May 13, 2024

Came in on a ship and Spent the day at the beach next door which was extremely crowded, they run a $6 return shuttle to the beach which is super easy and convenient but after ordering a few drinks etc I ordered a starter portion of food and was later followed out of the restaurant but the manager for not leaving a tip on my $8 charge.
Firstly I’m not American and we don’t tip. I do however understand that you tip if you have good service in the states and if the bill was of a substantial amount of course I would tip but for 8 bucks after leaving tips for other things all day I don’t expect to get chased out of a place and asked what I do for work and why I didn’t tip my waitress. 10% is 80c. Was it really worth making me feel like crap over?
Passengers usually ask us where to go in port and I will not be recommending this place anymore.

The location of this restaurant is perfect - gorgeous views of the ocean and a lovely outdoor seating area. I personally loved my cocktail “Lime in de coconut”. Service was fine, not perfect but no huge problems either. But the food was so average. For the price, I would expect it to have more flavor but everything was so bland. So I was disappointed about that. I’d recommend this place for drinks (and since you currently have to order food due to Covid regulations) maybe order a small appetizer. That way you can enjoy the ambiance and stay awhile at the beach area.

My travel companion expressed his Piña Colada being one of the best he ever had. I was partial to the Pain Killer and Caribbean Wata (with a $1 floater) were winners. The blackened mahi bites with fries were our go to meal. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection.

Listen, get the passion fruit margarita and thank me later. It was so good. We chilled here after jet skiing on Rainbow beach. The attendant man outside is strict about mask usage but inside they could care less. lI didn’t eat but the atmosphere was a party vibe. It was a Sunday and I heard it’s pretty lit at Rainbow beach in Sunday’s. Anyway, I would definitely return again.

The restaurant overlooks a beautiful beach, and depending on the time you can catch other visitors cruising around on jet skis out in the water. The food, drinks and service was great. Recommend the lime in the coconut.

We recently took our family of four to St. Croix, and we had the pleasure of dining at Rainbow Beach Restaurant. We were absolutely blown away by the food, the service, and the atmosphere.
The restaurant is located right on the beach, so we had stunning views of the ocean while we ate. The food was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. We especially loved the grilled Mahi Mahi.
The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, and she made sure that we had everything we needed.
The atmosphere at Rainbow Beach Restaurant is perfect for families. It's casual and relaxed, but the service is still top-notch. We felt like we were part of the family.
We would highly recommend Rainbow Beach Restaurant to anyone visiting St. Croix. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal with your family.
Here are some of the things we loved about the restaurant:

This beachfront restaurant serves tasty bar bites including fish tacos, fried shrimp, and many other favorites. Fast and friendly service with incredible views. Cold Frozen mixed drinks with some of the best views on the island.

Food was fine/average. I had a burger and fries. Certainly nothing special but it was good. They automatically charge 20% gratuity so even if the service is sub par you still pay 20%. My companion got a snapper fish sandwich and again stated it was okay. She also had a frozen drink and mentioned it was good.

We ate here twice while visiting St. Croix and it was delicious! Nothing on the island is cheap but this was reasonably priced with great food and drinks. It is on one of the nicest beaches on the west side with a place to rent chairs, umbrellas and jet skis next door. The bar was closed due to covid but they had 6 TV’s so it looked like a great place to watch your favorite sport.

Great atmosphere. Folks at the jet ski rental were very nice and helpful. Shadow was definitely a nice gentleman. Machines were spot on...no problems..up to 52mph on crystal clear blue waters. The Jager was ice cold but a but pricey at the bar. Staff had friendly smile (behind the masks).

I agree! Rainbow Beach is free, parking is free. We enjoyed the restaurant and bar, and our kids rented watersports equipment. Definitely a good time!

Sorry for the delay ......I just got this notification. It really depends on where you enter the water. Some areas are rocky others its perfect sand. Regardless of the rocks though - the beach is unbelievably clean, people are respectful of their trash. I didn't actually sit in any of the chairs so I cannot say but the 2 that were by my belongings looked fine. Its a great spot!!

I would say no. It’s a good mile or so, no sidewalks, narrow roads. Ask the cruise director about shore transportation. Have fun!

Lime In D' Coconut Drink Recipe
Lime in D' Coconut Drink. Pool optional. [ Location: St. John, USVI]
Before You Get Started Making Lime In D' Coconut Drink
Gather your supplies - Blender needed
Lime In D' Coconut Drink Ingredients And Amounts (Yields ~14oz)
3 oz (6 tbsp) Coconut Rum
2 oz (4 tbsp) Rose's Lime Juice
4 oz (8 tbsp) Coco Lopez - Cream of Coconut
1/2 Lime
4 Cups of Ice
Lime In D' Coconut Drink Step-By-Step Directions
1) Pour rum, lime juice, and cream of coconut into the blender.
2) Cut a lime in half and take off the rind. Place lime in blender.
3) Put ice in blender and blend till combined and ice fully crushed/blended.
4) Pour into a glass, garnish, and smile.

Lime In D' Coconut Drink Sweet Notes
Feel free to throw the entire lime in the blender, rind and all. It will blend up and have nice green flecks and some small lime bits. Please wash lime well

They do have WiFi there, just ask a server for the password. Most places on the island have free WiFi.
