Really sad they closed when we visit. They are still under recovery from the hurricane, we do see workers are patching their fence (actually most of attractions in St. Thomas are closed). If you are planning for a visit please definitly check their availability.

Worth it if you continue past the castle and do the rest of the self-guided walking tour through the other sites, like the old estate house, pirate museum, amber waterfall and rum emporium. They don't make it readily obvious that there are more places to...More

The tour and history is very informative. Bring your bathing suit and towel! The pool is delightful, and the rum punch is delicious.

Great view and we took the guided tour, Felipe was an amazing tour guide! Interesting sights and a terrific day! Very much worth the price for the guided tour.

This is a bit of a wacky place, but I love it. The tower is a National Historic Monument, but there is a hotel-style pool at the bottom of it. You can tour the property as a museum, or you can spend the day enjoying...More

My husband and I visited on our last day there and it was very neat. It was a little confusing to get to but we made it. The staff was very nice and the "pirate" who gave us the history of Blackbeard was super nice...More

We walked up the steps but had an informal self-guided tour before dinner. I'm not sure about the actual days when tours are available.

The taxi to the top cost us $4 per person. Considering what I paid for the cruise...my wallet opened up pretty quick for that! At the end of the "tour" you end up at the bottom of the hill about a 5 minute walk from the... More
