We always take friends to Palm Passage to explore shops, have a quick drink to relax after walking forever, and just to experience the old town image. We like to stop in to Okidonohk for gold jewelry and view their wonderful creations. The area is no smoking, so there is clean air, plants, and a really nice atmosphere.

We walked all the alleys and found Palm Passage to have the most interesting and varied shops and the sales people were engaging and knowledgeable wo/being pushy and aggressive. The products offered by the shops ranged from clothing, both casual and dress; costume and fine jewelry; quality decorative items as well as other products that I didn't remember. This alley... Truth to tell we were thirsty and in need of restrooms. It looked so inviting we ventured in. It was an amazing place, so different to Main Street with all the top end Jewelry (that we couldn't afford) - and despite telling shop assistants not to get excited as we weren't able to buy, they persevered. So we abandoned the... More

If you are not interested in the main street of jewelry and typical souvenirs this is a great spot to shop for something out of the norm. Local color and original items.

The main street is side to side jewellery shops and souvenir shops, so this cute passageway is a nice find. There are similar off-street places like this and better to explore than the busy main street. You ae more likely to find nicer shops and some cafes with wifi.

Main Street and others are filled with jewelry, clothing, art, etc. made all over the world, but not made in the US Virgin Islands. About all you save is the cost of your local sales or excise taxes, although the selection is amazing. We were looking for something actually made in the place, or at least typical of the place,... Palm Passage has my friends and my favorite shopping in St Thomas, particularly Just Imagine, with its wonderful hand-painted clothes in all sizes, gorgeous jewelry, and unique art, and Fish Face, with its fun clothes, shoes, bags, etc. for both women and men. Definitely duck into the Passage!

Whenever my husband and I visit St. Thomas we always spend some time at the oval bar inside the Palm Passage walkway. It is a nice relaxing place to drink and have fun! The atmosphere is so relaxing and the drinks are made by a very entertaining bartender. It is a great place to meet new people and try some... More

Finally something delightful to remember the trip by without being so 'touristy'! Some amazing shops with beautiful arts and crafts and clothing. Fish Face is darling and Gallery St Thomas has items of all price range. This is a MUST see!

The sport of shopping can be all made much more pleasant by dropping in here; there is no one here to beseech that you enter their shop to get whatever free give away with a purchase they are hocking today; it is cool peaceful and pleasant Lots of nice shops with local art and antiques to enjoy browsing;
