One of our favorites!

This beach is worth the hike. It has the prettiest palms - LOOKS LIKE A SCREENSAVER!! Also pretty good snorkeling off to the right.

The hike in was longer than we wanted to do while carrying chairs and towels, snorkel gear and cooler. We decided to hike in just to get a sense of this beach and to see if we wanted to go back to it with all of our gear. We had heard that it was a very quiet beach but I... More

A great beach with no road access, hike or boat in only. Even though it is the closest beach to Cruz Bay, it is not always busy due to the hike. Often confused with Honeymoon Beach which has services, Salomon has none. Sometimes folks go topless or totally nude, although that is not legal in the USVI. The nearby structure... More

Beautiful, quiet beach with bowing palm trees and beautiful calm waters. A hike via Caneel or the headland. You can park at Caneel Bay Hotel and get a refreshing gelato after your visit.

You have to hike to this beach, so it's not crowded. It's a nice sandy beach and a great place to just sit and read a relaxing book. It's not the best beach on the island and doesn't have the greatest snorkeling, but it's laid back and nice.

We didn't snorkel here but we just hung out on the beach and relaxed. It was the perfect view! Not many people go here b/c it is a hike to get to it, and Honeymoon Beach is next to it as well! I enjoyed this beach more than Honeymoon. The palm trees are so gorgeous here!

This beach is one of my favorites on the island. It's absolutely beautiful. It's a hike to get to...there is a longer hike (starting by the Virgin Island National Park offices) or a shorter hike (starting at Caneel Bay Resort). I would recommend the shorter one, especially after spending the day in the sun. It was an exhausting walk back....by... More

The hike was so refreshing and the beach was not crowded at all. The double rainbow made my day! There are no bathrooms or food so be prepared. Lots of trees made for good cover from the rain (and sun). The water is beautiful and the beach is so peaceful.

Don't miss this beach! The island has tons of beautiful places, but Salomon was my favorite. It was a short 20 minute hike from Cruz Bay (we started right at the national park visitor center), and the trail that leads there was easy to do (even in flip flops) and also very enjoyable. Because it was a bit of a... More
