My husband and I hiked out here from the National Park visitor's center and loved it so much we were back the next day. The hike is beautiful and the fact that you have to walk or boat to the beach means that it's not...More

My wife and I love this little beach. We love the ambiance. It has beautiful soft sand. The three Palm trees that are reaching out to the ocean are ideal. The views of the surrounding islands and passing boats are to die for. There are...More

This beach can only be accessed through hiking or by boat. We hiked the Lind Point trail to get to this beautiful beach. The trail starts behind the Virgin Islands National Park building. The next beach would be Honeymoon beach but it can be accessed...More

Salomon Beach is beautiful and somewhat secluded. However, for my wife and I, it was not worth the hike. We are in good physical condition, so the exercise isn't a big deal. It's just a hassle lugging all the beach stuff (chairs, cooler, snorkel gear,...More

After a relatively easy 20 min top walk over a maintained footway, although to be fair it is generally uneven and you need to have a level of fitness to walk 20 mins and climb a flight of stairs (this isn't Mt Everest level of...More

It's worth the trail hike to get to this beach! 20-30 minute hike isn't rated as "easy" since there are hills up & down, but it's not too strenuous either(I have asthma & I did fine). I'd say it is not for folks who have...More

As other reviewers state the only way to get to Salomon is to hike the trail. It's a nice hike and keeps the beach quieter. After meeting friends at the ferry we walked to the trail entrance which is a short walk, hiked the trail...More

Gorgeous beach, I mean spectacularly beautiful, some excellent snorkeling around the rocks on the northeast side of the beach, and as you have to hike in, it is usually blissfully quiet or even empty. Of course, that also means there are no services (food, bathrooms,...More

Beautiful Beach! Quiet, low key and tranquil. Not many people go here. You don't need to take a taxi. Just a 10 to 15 min hike and your there. Note: wear shoes for the hike to the beach. The path can be rocky. Highly recommend!!!

When we were there, people did come to beach from a different trail and they said it was off the road. You will have to ask a local. Sorry I'm not much help!
