Excellent secluded beach

You have to hike into this beach, so it tends to not be as busy as other beaches on the North Side. We packed for the day and had a lovely time. Good snorkeling and lovely water.

need to hike in so that keeps many of the people away. takes about a 1/2 hour and it is a moderate level hike. better get a map before making the hike just to be safe. it is just perfect. need to bring food, water, etc. spend the day with feet in the sand and snorkeling (some of the best).... Worth the hike! Private, not crowded, excellent snorkeling. A short hike format he national park visitors center is the only way to get there and it is worth the beach. It is a remote beach without conveniences so bring water and lunch.

I loved the coconut trees so close to the water...it was a very magical beautiful place! We hiked to it in the morning. You can park you rental jeep at the National Parks Visitor's center and give the lady at the desk your drivers licence. She will give you a permit to put on your dash board. Just be back... More

Wear your sneakers for the walk and don't plan to bring a big cooler, but the beach is lovely amd not crowded. Think honeymoon is a bit nicer and a bit closer, but it compares to our top 3.

This is a small and amazing beach! This is one of my favorite beaches on the island. Go out early in the morning and you will have this beach to yourself. Take a hammock with you and string it up between the palms.

A 20 minutes walk from the Visitor will get you to this beautiful beach. There is no facilities here. If you need drinks/snacks, you can go to Honeymoon beach about 8 minutes further on the trail. If you need foods, 10 minutes pass Honeymoon Beach is Caneel resort where you can order foods to go. All beaches in Saint John... More

After an easy hike about 25 min from Cruz Bay you are rewarded with this stunning beach. My favorite so much so that in our final day we decided against the other beaches planned for the day and went back to visit Salomon once more before leaving STJ. The reef off the point to the right when looking at the... More

Park behind the Visitor's Center (be sure to get your free parking pass from the attendant inside first) and take the long forest path to this beach, and prepare to be stunned! Pristine beauty, fantastic snorkeling, and few people are some of this bay's best features.

My boyfriend and I hiked the V.I.Natianal Park up to this gem and though it was definitely a workout to get there it was definitely worth it! Unfortunately we were not prepared(no bathing suits, snacks or drinks), But we still swam and enjoyed the experience. The water was clear and blue, the view was indescribable, the sand was white and... More
