Guarantee to see turtles and sting rays in the middle of bay. Swim around the right along the rocks for snorkeling to see fish and sometimes a nurse shark will appear.

This was our first visit to Maho Bay. We started at Cinnamon Bay but the surf was high & covered most of the beach so we headed here. Water was much calmer and we found a spot on the narrow beach which sits right next to the road. We really weren't impressed with Maho. There are rocks to contend with... More

This is our family's favorite! Shallow water, gentle waves, waving palm trees, easy access to the beach, great for little ones. Good snorkeling and turtles to be seen. Fish even visit you right near the beach! Paradise!

Of all the North Shore beaches, this was our favorite. The perfect beach experience which meant that it drew large crowds. Get there early to stake out a prime location on the sand. A major plus is that there is a parking lot and parking right next to the beach.

Drove by this beach many times, commenting "Why would anyone stop at this skinny beach, with a road right behind it?" I'll tell you why, its fantastic. No services but pretty good parking. Turtles and rays can be found out in the water. Generally only a few sailboats. Beach is bigger than it looks, and I'm not even aware of... More

This is a narrow white sand beach very close to the road. Picnic area on far left side. Good chance of seeing turtles in the middle, watch other snorkelers and you will know where turtles are.

A narrow beach, difficult parking late morning, but OMG what great snorkeling for the beginner and intermediate.

We took a kayak over to Maho from Cinnamon to see some turtles ... and sure enough there were turtles. There's a grass patch about 50 yards out around the center of the beach where you're likely to find them. Bring some snorkel gear and you'll be good to go.

Awesome beach. Parking is tricky. May need to take a short hike but nothing to taxing. Terrific shade on the beach, nice walking beach.
