We saw more marine life here just wading off the shore than we did on our snorkeling excursion in BVI. Sea urchins in the rocks, green turtles grazing in the grass right off shore, small fish and others!

This is a very quiet bay. It was uncrowded each time we were there. The snorkeling was Ok, not the best, but did see a spotted ray briefly. Some good hiking is nearby as well.

This was the most relaxing vacation; the weather was great, people were friendly and food was good. St John gave you the option of just sitting on the beach and enjoying the beauty of it all or getting some exercise and walking some great trails.

This beach is amazing! It's a bit of a hike down to the bay but once you're down there you won't be disappointed if you like a more secluded beach. The beach was very clean and the snorkeling was pretty good. I saw lots of...More

Was disappointed by this beach. Was small which was good but other beaches so much lovelier and without the 5 minute hike.

Those in the know head here when cruise ships are around. Large protected bay with good snorkeling. Entrance to water can be rocky. The toilets are minimal port a sans but better than nothing. The 1/4 mile hike down to the beach is uneven and...More

We went here on the busy cruise ship day in St Thomas. There is a short walk to get to the beach, downhill. The beach is not as pretty as the north shore beaches, but it was OK. There are some trees to get out...More

I don't recall seeing any mud at all. The bay is surrounded by white sand. You might see some hermit crabs.
