Not one of my favorite St. John North beaches because it is quite a bit more windy and wavy than others...but fine if you wish to surf or wind surf instead. It is a relatively small beach.

Jumbie Beach is a small, pocket beach at the end of a short 320ft (97m) trail starting across the road from a small parking lot on North Shore Road (Hwy 20) just west of Trunk Bay. We ended up here after giving-up on trying to find a parking spot at Trunk Bay, initially thinking we may be able to swim... More

My husband and I loved Jumbie Beach and finding beautiful and interesting shells. Snorkeled, but did not see too much except over on the right side near the rocks. If you are looking a great beach with lots and lots of shells, this is the place.

Great smaller beach on a calm day. A short hike and close to town. The reef is not great for snorkeling but is a nice quieter beach.

If you like a beach that is used by a small number of beachgoers, this is a terrific location. There are about 7 parking spaces on the side of the street opposite the beach.

This cove is overshadowed by the much larger and more popular beaches that flank it on the north shore of St. John. It's well marked with a sign and speed bumps on the road. 100 yard walk down the this little cove. Great spot. Nice snorkeling too.

Pack a lunch and a chair and head down a short walk to Jumbie Beach. Limited Parking but there is a small parking lot. Right before Trunk Bay. If Trunk Bay is packed, this is Def the better option. Beautiful Beach and hidden and overlooked by the tourist buses shuttling a lot of "cruisers". Right before Jumbie you can do... More

Very quiet snorkeling spot. Not a ton of fish but quiet little spot that is good for older kids. All of the coves are great. This one is good if Trunk is too crowded.

OK, I lived on nearby St. Thomas for many years and somehow I never found Jumbie Beach until this recent trip. It has a nice walkway and a good, shallow reef, and you will not likely be sharing it with a crowd. Like most areas, you may have to explore a little to find the best snorkeling, but if the... More

We didn't swim or snorkel here. The reef looked like it spread all accross the shore making it hard to swim here at all. We stopped here because Trunk Bay had no parking, and we found some open spots here. What made it cool was the birds. I guess there is alot of fish here because the pelicans were literely... More
