Visitors are allowed with $20 per car fee not charged if you spend that on the grounds. You cannot bring chairs or use theirs - towels only. The restaurant has good food but don't wait to go until you are hungry be service is island style - slow! The children's menu has adult prices.

Caneel Bay sits on a gorgeous piece of property within the Virgin Islands National Parks. Some of the prettiest beaches on the famed north shore are only accessible to resort guests. The staff are friendly and attentive which is an improvement over years past. Food at their restaurants is very good to excellent with particular note of the fabulous fare... More

We have been to Caneel Bay many times over the past 25 years -- first time on our honeymoon in 1991. We went back this November on a family trip. We stayed elsewhere on the island since we now have teens/tweens. But, had an amazing time hanging out on Caneel Beach and Honeymoon beach. We had lunch at the beach... More

My favorite beach is here ( Honeymoon Beach) and is only 5 minute walk from Caneel bay beach resort. You actually park at the resort and as long as you drink or eat $20 worth you can have your parking validated and park for free. Honeymoon beach was secluded and offered $15 lounge chair rental for the day ( most... More

Beaches in VI are required to have public access. The access here is thru the Resort. There's a $20/charge which is reimbursed if you eat there. The next beach up (Trunk Bay) is nicer and more accessible.

Beautiful beach area with restaurants, bar and shop. Saw some stingrays in the water while we were swimming (very cool). It was fairly private , maybe 10 of us on the entire beach.

This is an awesome beach. The view is spectacular and the service is extraordinary. Not open to all like it used to be however.

It's not a bad deal, $20 for parking and you can apply it to purchases in the gift shop or lunch - which is what we did - we had an awesome lunch. Food is delicious, great menu - something for everyone. Drinks are to die for. Beautiful gift shop but way overpriced. All the beaches at Caneel Bay resort... More

With the $20 parking, prohibition against bringing chairs and coolers, requirement to sit in front of loungers (leaving few shade options), not the most popular beach option. It is calm and pretty. Always find turtles in the sea grass beds. Reef at point to north of beach has grown back nicely in last two years. Best spot to see a... More
